My question is what the hell is Darkwatch (and Prey) doing there the game is pretty decent and just by reading the comment they posted it looks like the COMPLETELY missed the point of the game
There are MUCH MUCH worse FPS than the ones in the list
The game had MASSIVE potential but it was clearly rushed to release missing a TON of key things and we also have the part of a LOT of questionable design choices that might have been changed given more development time -_-
The PC market is as lucrative as you make it be...just ask Stardock also look for there stance on piracy and copy protection and what is really hurting the PC gaming industry beyond the usual scapegoat many companies use you will be surprised
Interesting enough its not as high as some people expected, its in the average and even slightly lower than some other games
Technically its a remake/revised version considering they went as far as having completely new character models and some scenario textures and in the game it self it has a couple of extra things from the new weapons to the new enemies, more saving points and stores along with a few extra areas
Painkiller + Expansion are such a BLAST there is nothing more fun than butchering HUNDREDS of enemies onscreen and also the game never has a dull moment since one minute you are fighting witches and demons on a medieval castle and next thing you know you are fighting some crazy soldiers on a military base or some cult member on a Opera House! also the variety and bizarreness of the games guns adds a LOT like my favorite a minigun with a F_CKING rocket launcher attached

I guess its cuz is goes from of cultural differences on specific game genres to simple matter of personal taste by Famitsu reviewers
We have seen before games that Famitsu rated pretty high only to be considered mediocre or average by western audiences

I am still undecided on this game, in one side I am not sure about he whole Halo RTS and the unhealthy obsession on mentioning of "console focused RTS" by the devs...in the other side its being made by Ensemble Studios of the legendary Age of Empires series so its almost guaranteed the game will at least be "good" and since Ensemble is yet to disappoint me with an RTS (well maybe a little with AOE3) I am confident that they will do a job that is very likely I will enjoy ...

I am drooling my mouth off for this game, I LOVED that they kept the voice actors for the units and the "computer help" plus ALL the crazy stuff that makes Red alert so legendary among RTS

As far as EA is concerned those contracts are probably in the trash after there lawyers ate them, remember MS had a publishing contract with Bioware for Mass Effect (1), EA bought it and published the PC version under there flag, that is pretty much a contract breach and sine I don't see anyone being sued looks like the contract went away or is no longer valid under the new terms of ownership by EA
