As a Sony fan, the whining of my fellow Sony gamers is more annoying than the PSN being down, which isn't bothering me at all.
I don't want to hear how much you want to play your games online, or how long its taking or blah blah blah. Sound more like addicts than anything lol

lol...that and all the misinformation going around. Don't even know what to believe anymore. I think once this is resolved (depending on how the outcome is) Sony needs to address the press on how they mishandled this incident.

You know what I love? How people keep saying the PSN was hijacked, like Sony is trying to wrestle control over it from the hackers right now. The downtime is them upgrading the service.

It is obvious that MS does know what phishing means for them to be giving out security warnings. If you believe that paying for XBL makes it safer than PSN, they just proven you wrong.

I bet you if this goes on for more than a week they will think about something to give to the paid service subscribers, regardless of their warranty agreement.
I know I would, but the article wasn't asking for reimbursement anyway.
It might be longer than that since we don't know how long the outage might be. They could give you more time just in case it comes too close the renewal of your services.
