PS3 is nothing but a PS2 with a extremely heavy focus on movies.. The best selling thing on PS3 last year was Dark Knight on Blu Ray.
Wii is my only console and I am doing just fine. With a Wii and a PC I get 90% of the games you do but at a cheaper price with in most cases a better game, and then I get all the Wii games that come out. To me it is a much better deal. I don't help MS get a monopoly and ruin gaming, and I don't reward Sony for telling me I am an idiot who needs them to tell me what I want. Or that I will buy it regardless of price.
When Nintendo made the Wii they modeled it in some ways after the PS2. It wasnt the most high tech, and development costs were lower. Now the thing you have to look at is most companies dont recognize shovelware the way you do. Nintendo noticed as many people did bu a lot of those crap games sold on PS1 and PS2.
Seems a good portion of the PS2 user based preferred Spongebob and Rugrats to God of War. So of course Nintendo lets developers put those types of games out on Wii today...

There is a difference in what he is talking about and what you are saying... If the content is already on the disc then you already paid for it once. Expansions generally add new content to a game, as does most DLC. However Capcom is locking up some stuff on the disc and charging to access it. Sorry but the two are completely different.

So what? I should write an article about how much money SOE stole from me with EQ and their other games. Charged me for months after I closed the account for EQ. Then I sign up for a FREE trial of the matrix. the day after I sign up for the FREE trial they charged my CC the full retail price of the game. Took me two months to get that money back. Two worst companies to give CC info to are AOL and SOE.
