They must have been playing an FPS on ps3 for the first time.
They don't see how good it is compare to mediocre FPS that come out, but they grade it as mediocre.

I bought a cheap Dynex tv from Best Buy around $400 and 32 inches,
and its gives amazing picture quality.
I was really unsure whether to buy it or not, because HDtvs were and some are still expensive, but it was a good buy.

People are going towards a recession in US believe or not, and it plays a big factor in buying the console.
I haven't seen the worldwide numbers for 360 and Ps3, but I think they will be about equal.
In US, xbox has obviously sold a lot because of price and ads. PS3 has done a lot with exclusives games, but Price is standing to be the archilles heel for the the 360.
So they have to buy a cheap arcade xbox, when they can't afford a ps3 or couldn't find a wii.
