saying that Gears of War 2 will be in a blu-ray disk cause it takes 25 GB of data and that you can only play it on their "next generation" 360
does NOT fix the issue...i repeat, it DOES NOT fix the issue...i've done that like 7 times now and nothing...im considering trading-in my 60 GB model for a new 40 GB model, can somebody tell me what differences it has other than the 60 GB being Backward compatible and the 40 GB one not??
im having the freezing issues...just because you got a working copy doesnt mean everybody is playing it...:(
i have a 60 GB launch PS3...cant get pass the intro movie...
F<CK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!
i hope my friend, i hope...
Do you guys think that if this game was a PS3 exclusive it would have gotten all this perfect scores?, or do you think this has to do a little bit with Microsoft's 50$ million "bribe" on Rockstar. Cause the way i see it is that on some other multiplat game that came before this one, the PS3 version suffered from slight framerate issues (Ex. The orange box) and this fact alone hampered the review scores A LOT, but here we are with the 360 suffereing from this same issues with GTA4 an...
me too :)
cant see it either
they should use a green disk LOL
blu-ray has been adopted as the next storage format by the movie industry. It always takes 8-10 years before a complete change of formats happens so we'll have blu-ray for years to come.
Sounds cool though...
LACK OF ANTI-ALIASING!!!! on most multi-plat games the aliasing is inexcusable compared to the 360 versions...i dont get why it's like that, i mean i've seen games on the PS3 with really soft sexy looking edges. At first i thought it was just till devs figured the hardware out but we are 1.5 years into the cycle and still we have this annoying issue.
Do you guys think it might be that my tv screen is too big and it shows this flaw via HDMI...my TV is only 40" 1080p Samsung w...
Those screens look tooooo good to be true. They have to be "touched up". The reason i say this is because every preview i've read says the graphics are average, but then i see screenshots like this, it makes no sense
"I think that's to do with really low-level technical stuff that I'm not the guy to explain. The 360 games have a certain look to them; PS3 games have a certain look to them. I like the way [the PS3] renders." He concluded, "There's a certain kind of softness >>>without being blurry<<<<< -- some warmth to it -- and then there's a certain more clinical element to how the 360 looks."
i understand what you are saying about some people getting bored with a sim racer, but for some reason the devs nailed the handling for each car to the point i want to try out every car available unlike previous GT games in which i just wanted to get the fastest car and ignore the others. This time around each car is an experience of his own...and with the new c0ckpit view OMG!!! *drool* cant wait for the full GT5 version
i see it a a whole game...and a good one too...there is no doubt that Gran Turismo owns...the game is beautiful and the way each car handles its addicting to say the least. I cant get enough of this game and it has enough depth to last for a while. The online portion is simplistic but it gets the job done.
PS. Im really considering getting the Logitech wheel :)
what mod is the one used in the videos in which the game goes "slow-mo" every time you get a kill??
I was one of the unfortunate gamers that got the 9-digit code so i emailed konami (mgobetasupport@konami.com) something like that,in the mean time i downloaded the beta using the European account method, but i just received their answer and they sent me a brand new 12-digit code that WORKS!!!! :) so im downloading it to
PS. The icon and name that represents the Beta file is different on both, so i dont know if the european one will work here in the US...
i got mine this way too...all i need id the id and im good to go i suppose...
i dont know about you guys but im getting bored already with this game and im only 26% into it. I think the game is "lacking" action and challenge...there's no doubt that Liberty City hasnt looked this beautiful, but i think the game lost too much gameplay essence between San Andreas and GTA IV. Too many gameplay options got taken away (Property Ownership, businesses, car customization, RPG elements, clothing, airplanes, bicycles, parachuting, side missions etc etc)
On ...
