I'm totally in, the PS4 does everything i need it to which is let me play single players in a none connected place.
Sony would be dumb not to take this opportunity, they have to price a unit at least at 399 to really beat Microsoft.

I don't think its a different perspective. The voice acting is one of the most complimented parts and from all accounts was done really well. I can see how not liking the gameplay could be subjective but his whole B movie insult is ludicrous.
I'm totally out when it comes to Xbox one. The problems may not be huge to some people but i just mostly play my 360 in a place where i don't have a connection. It never bothered me cause i don't play multiplayer at all so i avoid X box Live. I refuse to lug my 360 back every 24 hours to where i have a connection so i can play single player games. I'd rather Microsoft build a really strong first party development and leave third parties for multuplatforms
Kinda funny how there were some people from polygon commenting on this guys tweet. Just as the critic from Polygon can have his own opinion of other peoples work then anyone should be able to form an opinion of the critics work as well
I don't mind if they were consistent but some of the games that gave 8 or 9's to by comparison makes it ridiculous.
I think that's a good point, the industry just seems to think one bought used game is equal to one loss sale when thats not really the case.
Having a back-up plan so you can take a risk in purchase frees up people from second guessing themselves and being more liberal in there choices.
Plus developers can possibly make it back down the line with extra DLC the person could purchase to a new client.
The problem here is if Microsoft leverages their drm protection to publishers and tries to get exclusives because of it. I hope if Sony does decide to not add extra DRM then consumers support them to counter this move if Sony can outsell X box then that will be a deterrent for publishers siding with Microsoft.
It sucks cause PS3 was a hard console to crack without all these fancy DRM, only in its last few years did it get exploited and even now its still harder to get games ...
Just leave it per disc reliant like this generation.
If its true then i wonder how much it costs, x box live is a profitable business but they just increased the cost of running it by 20 times. Microsoft has to cover those costs somehow.
But blu-ray had implications on gaming as well not just multimedia. I mean look at it now Xbox one is using blu-ray.
I think its so going to be ok for certain people in the US with all it functionality but, i'm in South east asia so 80 percent of those extras are not going to work. Heck i can't even get an HD box yet so that HDMI input is useless to me. I also fear their whole push for having publishers use the cloud for calculations in stead of the console. The would implicitly mean that the console has to be connected all the time when half the time i use my X Box in an area where i don't have...
Not buying XBox One till these claims are sorted out, . Not trusting them cause of huge claims about Kinect, now i can hardly get even my nephews to play cause of wonky tracking, not to mention its hard to set up because of the space and the natural light spilling into my room.
I do fear that microsoft touting cloud to make up for their hardware will push developers to make even single player games online all the time which will be a deal breaker for me cause half the time ...
Seems like an excuse to turn games into persistently online. Plus what happens if Microsoft stops supporting the game and shifts there cloud computing resources to other newer games. If games use the cloud does that mean Xbox Live gold is a must.
I think Microsoft should of at least of shown 1 or 2 shocking and truly exclusive game. I don't know if they are trying to keep their cards close because they fear sony might 1 up them during E3 but if that's the case then whats the point of this reveal. With E3 being so close they could of had this huge E3 conference where the revealed everything.
That sucks i wished they found a multi-platform publisher. Why develop a fanbase as a multi-platform then shortchange the fans by not releasing a sequel on those platforms. I wished they offered new games to nintendo and kept boyetta a multi-platform.

I agree i don't think gates was ever nearly as arrogant as Jobs.
It kinda sucks but hopefully monetizing it could make it better, i have an x box 360 but i've never really gone on Live Gold but all i hear from xbox fans is how live is so much better then PSN.
