I guess if you like gaming and frequent gaming sites often, what your reading might be influenced by the relationship between reporter/journalist and developer/publisher. They might be a little bit more bias to a review or subject.

Yup, its costing them money and games. The stupid parity clause can be broken if a developer has an exclusivity clause with another platform. So basically devs, before signing with MS, shoot SONY an email and loophole the entire process by asking them for exclusivity.
Yeah, I always thought there should be a day 1 review, more of a first look, like how Giant Bomb does it. Basically a review for the single player portion day 1 if possible. Then a review for the multiplayer down the line, maybe after the game has been patched, etc.
