Bullshit, my system was connected all day long. I did notice plants vs zombies kept telling me to update the game, but it was already updated. I redownloaded the game, installed the update and it worked perfectly.
So i guess thr idea is to hack MS while they load back up servers for all the anticipated traffic. New accounts will be made, lots of downloads will happen. I guess thats a good way to figure out other ms servers ips. Well xmas is gonna suck for all those new xbone owners. And for all the current ones too, but dont worry, the worst thing that can happen is a simple password change, and you guys might even get 2 free games as an apology from MS.

As consumers we will never get the real story, maybe Ms and Sony planned to get a couple of timed 3rd party exclusives. Ms said ill take tomb raider and Sony took SF5 for now. And nintendo took bayoneta all for them selves.

I think you should be able to do this if you buy the retail disc. Just like bluray movies that let you download the movie. I guess this would require some sort of DRM. For example if i buy COD Advance warfare, my disc gets scratched, i should be able to download the digital version, assuming i dont trade in the game. Sames as way steam works. I remember registering my CS disc key and it let me download the digital version.
