If you don't care about the loot box 'controversy', it's a game you'll enjoy i think. It's alot better than SWBF1, which didn't even have a campaign. The explosions etc look great on base xb1, so i'm sure they will be fabulous on your new system. It's a very good game. Alot of Ryse haters didn't have an xbox, and alot of Fallout haters were first in que to buy the game.
40 hours to get a character ? You get characters with in game points. It's 6000 points, which you get by playing well. At least that's how it's been from my expeience.
I had quite a few lootboxes after 6 hours, and i'm not good at the game. There's also a daily log in box, so you don't have to play for hours to get one box as you say.

Very true. Taking away technology from someone could unmask a depression in many people, including the folk making negative comments.

Fair enough. I disagree and agree. Slow ranking for items can be unfair on people who can't afford new items. Especially the parents who get nagged, or receive an unexpected bill as it's their name on store card that their kid used without permission. Although yes, they are very acceptable when they don't influence gameplay.
Lootboxes only acceptable when you can still rank up quickly and get new items without them i.e Halo 5. Slow rank ups such as TLOU suck, as does "pay to win".
Could be a bargain if EA get respawn to make a cod style game on frostbite.

I'd have liked a remaster of Witcher 1 & 2, with the effort and quality that Sega applied with Yakuza remasters.

Can't wait. I checked Fares twitter a good 'few' times over a couple of years, to see if he'd drop hints. Then the announcement came out of the blue. This is one of a few games i've high hopes for, and will day 1 instead of vault.

I don't know what people mean by unlocking heroes after 40 hours of play. Using lootboxes from in game points has give me access to 8 heroes after 6 hours. I guess i'm wrong ? The hero lootboxes cost roughly 2400 in game points ?
