I dunno, i have the mcc and still haven't got the halo bug. I appreciate that it has a good story etc, but i'd rather have mass effect easily, even though without halo, mass effect wouldn't exsist. I'll finish halo 2, and maybe give 3 a go ?
I don't think gaming was better then. I'd say people may treasure it more because it takes the older gamer back to their youth, at a time where games were a newer concept. There was also less media sources, so the hype was different. Game magazines were relevant then, as were there opinions. There was always a brat whos prick dad didnt want you to borrow his game. Time makes the heart grow fonder, but i wouldn't try to convince anyone that f-zero is better than driveclub.
What was the frame rate supposed to be at launch ?
My game is fine really. XB1 digital. Haven't had any issues with frame or stutter. Is patch optional ?
Physics for a pool game really suck. It's what's stopping it from being the best pool game out there. The ball stops far too suddenly imo.
2nd toughest difficulty is a good challenge for me. I kinda suck at games, but once i get into a rythem i will be alright. I just need to earn more coin first, instead of running into missions all the time. I also wasn't sleeping to regen, or distributing points.
I wouldn't include it in the score, unless i thought the issues broke the game, and could take too long to fix i.e battlefield 4. Witchers issues will be ironed out soon enough, and is still providing a 1st class experience for most.
Why should they wave goodbye to tens of millions of euros just so that high rig pc players can annoy everyone online ?
In other words witcher is primarily a console game now. Spiffing.
Can one of you witcher heads help me. At the start of witcher 3 you go over witcher 2 choics.
***** WITCHER 2 SPOILER *****
I saved triss, but fought the dragon. At the end the dragon is still moving, and i leave it alone. According to witcher wiki this means saskia lives, and ioerveth is wounded. I still think leaving the dragon just means she sufferslonger before dying.
The cannon choices at the start also imply i either saved triss or sask...
Well i dunno, the best looking games got bashed a bit. The order and ryse got alot of stick, and infamous to a lesser extent. I think there are alot of gamers who want new gen to bring more variety and more characters, sharper a.i, and more detail etc. Bloodborne is supposed to be tough, yet has probably been received as the best next gen game. I don't think graphics are the main reason players liked that.
Just let people enjoy whatever version they have. The story and characters are a hell of alot more important than a few frames and sharper textures or whatever. I played the w itcher 2 port on console and loved it. I know it wasn't the best port, but it was still one of my favourite games due to sheer substance.
I actually liked the alpha and beta. However to me the multiplayer is one of these games where everyone is an expert, and i'm their victim. The retail multiplayer happens too fast for me, and whilst the story mode is a decent idea, it was a bit light.
Well basically it's 10% off games that are too expensive anyway. The rest is a marketing ploy. Sony were right to tell them to piss off. EA servers suck, maybe they should invest more in those. As for preferring free apps, well ea access is an app, and i think folks would get more entertainment out of the freebies.
Bought the game last week, and it's a let down to me. Hardly bothered with it.
Got it for a month, but it kinda sucks. I got rid of hardline before 10 hour trial ran out, already have bf4, and the rest of access is pretty much sports games. I dunno why ps4 players would want this. Not renewing, and to be honest i prefer the free apps anyway.
Does anyone know if patch is part of digi version. Playing it just now, but caught between continuing, or falling back to witcher 2 on 360 for another playthrough first.
Maybe i need to play it more. I get put into races automatically when i chose multiplayer, then get thrown into this rubbish mode where i have to infect other cars. To be honest i absolutely suck at racing games. Could others with slower connections be at an advantage.
Prefer driveclub to forza horizon. I have both, it just depends what you prefer from a game. I don't care about customisation, and i feel that fh2 seems like most tracks are the same. I was expecting more, as opposed to driving across fields and crashing into trees, before moving onto 'tracks' that are quite repetetive. Haven't played project cars.
Dunno. I loved rdr, but i haven't played many open world games. Really liking witcher 3, and i'm not experiencing many bugs. It's a fairly complicated game, so i'll just do the best i can to make the better decisions. I also like bright colours and regional british accents in a medevil surrounding. I tend to avoid games that are too dark in colour, with grainy textures.
