I'm liking your idea of free for PS+ users lol though I don't think Sony will go for that I think a 1 time 2 hour free to play option could be added because lets face it old time favourites aren't always the way we remember them and if were sticking with this system the prices need to come down but I expect Sony will do that anyway today's prices are just to test the water.
I can agree with what you said I could agree with it even more if both consoles were on par with each other and it just come down to who has the best games but there's much more factors to it than that I just think Sony has the right formula when it comes down to it though I still enjoy gaming on XBOX a lot still got my 360 and had an XB1 since day 1 just my opinion that Sony's more clued up in the console industry after all it's for the players and who can argue with that.
How to win a console war? it's simple do what Sony does and not what Microsoft does the past 20 years have proven that.

In terms of games and getting back up to par Microsoft would have to deliver the best games line up a gen has ever seen,with Sony's ever growing quality line up of games and the stronger hardware i just don't see it happening i think Microsoft will finish behind Sony what ever they try and i think even Ms knows that,hopefully the race will be closer next time.

You get campers all over fps games not just COD same with 12 year olds they play other games not just COD as for the gameplay can you really tell from a youtube video or images because i can't until i play it but yeah a new game engine is way over due i can agree with you on that.
Get yourself a new monitor or your eyes checked then try again or just don't buy it if you don't like it.
The visuals look far better as for the gameplay i haven't played it yet so how would i know,for the fans of COD like myself im sure we'll have a blast on AW same as we always do.
I don't think Sony needs it Microsoft on the other hand has nothing like it so it's hopefully a good move on their part and could be another plus to owning an XB1 the price seem's reasonable enough if the contents there i guess we just wait and see.

Microsoft tried to force it on people with EA Access you have a choice to buy it or not that's a big difference and won't be perceived the same way because of that.

With this being EA you can bet your ass there will be multiple ways of them getting money out of us thrown into Access i can't see them settling for 5-30 bux a year its not the EA way.

Early Resident Evil games for me still my fav horror titles to date.
After Undead Nightmare i can't think of anything better for GTA5 than some Rockstar zombie action this could be awesome if true and just in time for the remaster.
I believe them Uncharted 4 will be awesome I can't wait and neither can my PS4.
