i didnt mean to start a flamewar...this is how i feel about the console...i have nothing against the wii...i wish it all the best because devs arent utilizing it to its fullest potential...thats just me...i dont know why people are getting mad
i know that its been a great success this far and it will sell millions more....but will a wii2 or totally new console sell as well if the actual gaming crowd knows what they got from the 1st wii
you know how many of you totally misunderstood what i said...i have no problem with the Move....im actually excited about it...what worries me are the 3rd party devs who will take shortcuts like they did with the Wii just to make a quick buck...im not targeting Sony about HD, but devs who dont try to make the best game possible out there...and devs have done this on the PS3....im excited to see what sony's 1st party devs will come up with because Sony will be in full support of what they can ...
Overkill???
so you guys are going to put those games up there with lets say Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Starfox....
why dont they bring back Donkey Kong, GoldenEye Wii, why not buy the rights to Shenume from Sega or hell work with Sega to release a Shenume game on the Wii....so many endless possibilities
and the majority of the games you guys are giving me still attract a more casual crowd
idk about you guys but i have rarely seen anymore wii advertisements for the...
because its not Sony who is making these games....it will be 3rd Party devs....and you know how many games we have already seen that havent hit 720p let alone 1080p which i can only keep dreaming of
when games like MAG and Warhawk faced scrutiny for just having an online component...people were trying to justify the price tags on each game when they came out....so SP is here to stay...without it...we wouldnt be so connected to some of our most favorite games case in point MGS, FF, Half-Life, GoW, Mass Effect series etc.
No Liquid vs. Snake?? Sad Day
am I the only one who was rooting for Liquid when they were fighting??
i agree with pirateThom to an extent...that would work for one person, but when you have multiple people how will it be able to track multiple movements?..i dont know how one motor can try to do that..the reasoning i have behind it is that the motor is used to calculate your height and size so that it can compensate space for multiple gamers on the tv..speculation only...we will find out at E3 what its functions and capabilites are....
i like the voice recognition a lot..this w...
i understand that...i have played the game myself....but when was the last time you heard of Nintendo coming out with something new and fresh...something that gamers can be excited about....im talking in terms of new IPs....why is the DS so damn successful...you see new stuff all the time...this is why devs dont want to make good quality games for the Wii....there is no profit and Nintendo doesnt go out and support the game with advertising and funding which is what MS and Sony do all the tim...
exactly my point....at least im not alone in this lol
only difference is it will be in HD...or sub HD seeing as how many devs are shooting well below 720p
so you do understand how dumb they sounded when they said facebook integration with the 360 is the greatest thing ever...they advertised this all over E3...if they came out with a browser i would have been more impressed...but its all about making a profit in the end i guess
and plus coming from a company that specialzes in computer software, they could actually make it much smoother and faster than it is on the PS3 since that isn't Sony's expertise
exactly what we need, another ESRB, MPAA and RIAA /s
its just that you dont hear much about Nintendo suporting the Wii like we hear about the 360 and PS3...there are always new updates and firmware when you look at the 2 HD consoles...but when it comes to the Wii, its like Nintendo lost interest, they see that it is selling like crazy...so why mess with it??
this is why when we see articles like this, people shun the Wii automatically because it is hard to compare it to the other 2...MS and Sony are in direct competition with one...
do you guys remember how great these games were back in the NES and N64 days...people called the games revolutionary because they offered something new...and back then Zelda and Mario were fresh...yet today...its all about one remake after another...this is what i think of when I look at Nintendo....
what happened to coming up with new and innovative characters like they did in the 80's and 90's....its like they are playing it safe...do something new and exciting, at least we w...
that older tech was able to offer us 4 player split-screen and here we are today and you hear devs saying "ohh it would be too difficult to implement this" or "we thought about it, but the game is great just the way it is"....excuses excuses excuses
plus with the whole graphical debate raging everytime we see something new about Crysis 2 or Halo:Reach, or rumors of KZ3, people go crazy and belittle one game to make the other better...it could be pressure as...
the Move will be an excuse for EA to keep chruning out the same games every year....we already barley see any new gameplay elements as it is...
they will play it off with the whole..."look now you can throw the ball and hit the golf ball just like the pros!!!!"
GoldenEye Wii....why has this not been released or even announced for that matter...
i feel like Nintendo will disappoint just because they will shift the attention away from the Wii to the new DS...thats just my opinion
at least when he talks he doesnt sound like some MS or Sony rep/CEO...he is a gamer at heart
at least we know a Twisted Metal PS3 demo(i hope to God that is what he is making) is going to be free
The title should be "Different Person playing same game OVER and OVER and OVER again....."
and i dont understand why they keep saying its a new look at Natal...its the same look of Richocet or whatever the name of the game is
its more like damage control after bashing every successful console game out now
at least its good to see that they are paying respect where respect is due...
