yeah i know that...the machine was hyped to hell when it firat came out...and this was when MS actually had first party support for the machine...it had a diverse launch line up...a game for everyone, shooters, rpgs, action/adventure, racers and so on...another thing was that Live was being hyped as a next generation service and people ate it up...everybody was super excited for HD graphics along with a MP experience...if the PS3 had released earlier, i think it would have only hurt the conso...
valve had to force apple's hand to do an upgrade when steam finally came to the mac...the games didnt play as well as they were supposed to be until it finally came out...i know that there is an article on here about that...plus when it comes to games/apps Apple is very strict about how what you do...so you can imagine how that would turn out if they came out with a system that had an online service....the PSN allows for freedom....XBL is much more closed off...the whole Gabe Newell fiasc...

i dont think its as bad as the OP makes it out to be....but consumers know what they are buying when they get a 360...last time i checked around 22 million 360 consoles were connected to live....so its about 50/50 on who wants to pay for the service and those who just enjoy SP games
bioware could have went the kotor way and just had a cover that showed off the game rather than the main character....kotor did this perfectly....the cover was very intriguing, had all of the main characters on it except the protagonist which was you....

plus the author brings up good points...the reason MS wouldnt allow free content for a game like TF2 is because MS wouldnt be getting a share of the profits if valve actually ended up charging for the content in the end

if apple ever came out with a gaming system, it would cost $2000, be one of the most closed off systems out seeing as how apple is very protective of their tech....even so, it would get hacked/jailbroken just like all of their other products...and sadly it would actually sell just like the ipad did and that thing was being called a pc tablet...misinformed consumers, best way to become a millionaire
going back to what made this game awesome back to the ps2 days....finally konami has figured it out
idk why...but this seems to be mainly geared towards ps3 gamers....the pc along with the 360 have had a much bigger problem with piracy...plus the ps3 hack, as far as i see it still seems fake to me...you do make a good point...if someone is willing to put down $150 for a usb drive yet whine about the pricing of games, then there is something completely wrong with them

Move will definitely have the time to get better and have all the kinks worked out in the launch games before the holiday season...plus with the patches for games like heavy rain, RE5, plus the release of LBP2, it will only make it that much more appealing come december 25th...a kevin butler commercial of him wearing a santa hat with a move montage of all those games i just mentioned would be perfect for advertising the capabilities of the controller
