should anyone be surprised by this...and its funny how the execs talk about the game as though they have never even played a game in the CoD series
"Next year's Call of Duty will be a first-person shooter." I could have have told them this, but yet im not making the millions these guys rake in every year
so when this guy says 5 to 1, does he mean launch wise, because roughly 3 million Moves sold in about a month would correlate to 15 million Kinect devices sold...bold statement, if thats what this guy means, then he is completely out of tune with how the market works
i wonder if when you calibrate your body with kinect, it asks you to be in a standing position rather than sitting down. if thats what it does, then full fledged racing games like Forza or PGR would never work with kinect...we already saw a tech demo of Forza with Kinect, and i doubt that anyone would play the game without having any control over the gas or break
would have been better for them to release a first person boxing game...it would be the one game where all you use is your upper body...there are no special moves or kicks which can be awkward to do when playing a game like the one in the review
14 million pounds, thats British currency, for every pound you roughly get 1.6 dollars...about 22 million dollars...plus there is no point in sony spending that much money on a videogame peripheral when they have other products that take priority over the Move
does MS really believe that the Halo crowd will buy this because of 2 vehicles?

looking at the reviews, one thing seems constant for certain games, while they do look appealing and have good presentation, they fall in gameplay with issues that take away from the fun and purpose of the intended game
GT5 itself will be a game that will push console sales, it has long legs and people will be buying it well into 2011 and 2012...this is what Sony is counting on since it happened with previous GT games...i know that if am not able to get a copy in the next month or so because its sold out, then i'll wait for future copies or just reserve one online
people took the move vs kinect sales article with a grain of salt and most were objective about it...yet when an article like this comes out and says that it has sold out when it isnt out yet, id like to see people remain objective, yet they are praising the prodcut when it hasnt even released...if you are going to state facts in one thread, dont change your statement from what is right to something that is still up in the air since the product has yet to come out...
id love to see a 3d XMB on the ps3 with the move...with time i think it will happen
they just need to raise their standards for what is acceptable as a "used product"...plus employees should encourage customers to test anything they are buying from the store...that way you build rapport with the customer as well as trust...and it makes your company more reliable since Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart have begun their own used sales sectors
id like to know who the "many other retailers" are as the exec stated, the statement is too vague, if it is a considerable number of retailers, then it would be something to talk about, but unless something happens at Amazon or GS, then there should be no problems
the main difference between the move and kinect IMO is that the Move sells and will sell with current ps3 owners, whereas Kinect is trying to appeal to the "wii-owning mom of two" that the article talks about...the Kinect is trying to get a new consumer base, while Move is geared towards PS3 gamers that already own a PS3 IMO...it all depends on advertising from now on with Kinect...i have seen Best Buy employees and moms interested in what the device can do at my local Best Buy, and...
id love to see GG make a variety of new weapons for the game...the possibilities are endless
its sad to see the hypocrisy in your statement, you defend kinect by saying reviews don't matter but go after the move when games like The Fight get bad/mediocre reviews from gaming sites...i wonder if you ever think about what you write...you like to call out PS3 fans, yet you are the very definition of fanboy as well...defend one, belittle another, you are no better
all im afraid of is these big companies starting to milk the franchises that Take 2 owns...i would not want to see a GTA game every year

well when you think about it, a GTR with professional mode on while on a rally track, unless you are really experienced with the car and the mode, you are just asking for trouble as this driver clearly demonstrated that
so for $430, you can get a 4GB 360 or a fully loaded PS3 for the same price
