I could have sworn those were MW2 gameplay vids for a moment.
Offtopic: Just a heads up, it's only a matter of time before some ass munch comes here and spams N4G with Killzone 3 spoilers. The release date is very close so we should be aware of this.
Because EA's games have been the ONLY games to receive patches this gen, right?
Also, The_Nameless_One wasn't just talking about the acronyms you used that weren't understandable. Your ENTIRE sentence structure made it extremely hard to decipher what you were trying to say.
EA has introduced some of the greatest new IPs this generation. They seem to be the only publisher with two of the most talented studios that can make a multiplatform game look...
More like 5 Call of Duty maps in one.
This is the very first time I have ever seen a Twisted Metal game going through development. I actually felt the same way and that was probably the reason why. I never had to wait. I played the HELL out of every installment years ago without even realizing another Twisted Metal game had come out. lol
Jaffe has NEVER disappointed me with any of his Twisted Metal games. He has created my most favorite video game franchises of all time.
lol @ the reports. Bunch of noobs.
Mega64 is the best.
I wonder if it'll take another 4 years to hack this thing.
Oh yeah, totally noticed that too. :3
Anti Aliasing?!?!?! On the Unreal Engine 3?!?!?! ON A HANDHELD?!?!?!
Hey guess what, YOU JUST SELF OWNED YOURSELF. lmfao
GT5 came out like 2 months AFTER Halo Reach. It seems to be only 2 million behind but currently outselling Halo Reach on a weekly basis. DAHHHH!!!
"The last Twisted Metal game to arrive on a console was Twisted Metal: Black which came out ten years ago in 2001."
WRONG
Either you're flash player is acting up or you're seeing things. Like I said, there is virtually zero screen tearing on the PS3. It only seems to happen during the FMV which must be a bug.
You're overreacting for something that's pretty much nonexistent. Better edge smoothing? AFAIK, there is almost zero AA on both platforms because of some weird post processing that gets rid of whatever AA the 360 version has or something. It's like that for EVERY UE3 gam...
Just like how Mass Effect 2 would melt the PS3 if it tried to run it?
You're thinking the complete opposite, just_the_tip. It's PS3 exclusives that would melt the 360. Not the other way around. :P
Actually there is virtually zero screen tearing on the PS3 (it only seems to be noticeable during FMV, like in the Mass Effect 2 demo). It's there but it almost NEVER happens. Haven't tried it on the 360 yet since it crapped out on me recently... but according to someone I was having a chat with, the PS3 version actually runs more fluidly than the 360 version.
It would be a reason to turn on my 360... but my 360 doesn't want to turn on!
:D
I could swear that Resistance 2 ran at 30FPS. Pretty sure it does.
lol You called me a troll. I don't get that very often surprisingly. Releasing at the same time as other games is no excuse. Look at GT5 (the so-called disappointment). It did over 5 million already and it released very close to Black Ops.
This game is clearly not for the 360 audience. Out of EVERYONE I know, I was the ONLY one to buy Alan Wake. Yet, my platform of choice is the PS3. Go figure.
Great game. A shame it's something that just isn't for the 360 crowd.
Wow, it looks pretty damn good. However, those animations are just god awful. Hopefully the gameplay makes up for it.
Hahahaha. Bubbles, MintBerryCrunch. That made me laugh.
