"but there was something about Gran Turismo Sport’s driving that I found mesmerizing."
That's what makes Gran Turismo special. Despite its flaws, it keeps you coming back for more because of its excellent driving which is some of the best you can find on any console.
Looking forward to trying it out at E3.
@magiciandude
Is that why there has yet to be a single 90+ rated exclusive on your AAAABox One?
Forza 6 has static weather, static lighting, 30fps reflections, nothing is dynamic whatsoever and the game just looks really really bad when driving in the rain. The PS3 GT games at least had dynamic weather and time of day.
lol It really doesnt. Forza 6 looks like an OG Xbox game just for the sake of running static weather and night racing at 60fps.
I dont get why everyone keeps expecting Driveclub visuals... Gran Turismo is a 60fps game. No amount of technical wizardry will make a 60fps game look as good as a 30fps game.
Yeah... no.
@Gol3m
He's talking about The Last of Us.
"The Resolution doesn't drop. You can force the upscale to 1080p on the Xbox in the display settings menu, just like you can force some non 1080p games on PS4 to be 1080p through their display settings."
LOL Thats not how native resolutions work. sub1080p is sub1080p regardless of whatever upscaling is taking place. Its very noticable mostly due to there being more aliasing.
You clearly don't know anything about the lunatics from misterxmedia forums. misterxmedia himself has spent YEARS (since early PS3 gen) desperately trying to downplay the graphical capabilities of anything playstation, The dude is the most deluded microsoft fanboy you can ever find on the internet.
Movie mode looks choppy because of the unlocked uneven framerate. If it was locked at 30fps and didnt jump all over the place it would look smoother especially on 60hz displays. Pretty much the same case as Infamous Second Son.
Thats funny. The E3 booth had the complete opposite effect on me. Maybe it was that damn host that annoyed me the entire time I was waiting in line and playing the game.
Oh dont spew crap like that, Jack. Xbox fanboys are by far the worse. You only think Sony fans are worse because there are more of them. But the few xbox fanboys that troll any message board are worse than all sony fanboys combined. Youtube, N4G, eurogamer, you name it. Xbox fanboys are the worst and hvd is more proof of that fact.
This makes me want to replay A Crack in Time even though I already platinum'd it. Such an amazing game.
"gears is the more successful of the two."
lmfao
@Perjoss No, FFXIII was 720p on PS3. Only the CGI cinematics were 1080p.
And 1920x800 is not 720p. Its nowhere near that.
"Clearly you don't understand how resolution works. "
Talk about irony.
Maybe YOU should check your math, Will.
1920x800=1,536,000pixels
1600x900=1,440,000pixels
The Order 1886 factually has more pixels being rendered than a game running at 900p.
@WilliamSheridan
Uh no... The Order 1886 had a resolution that is still higher than 900p.
You sound bitter. Heres a tissue.
