Honestly, someone is not going to change their decision on which console to buy over a $100 difference. If you want an Xbox One, you will buy it at any price, as long as you can afford it. If you want a PS4, you are not going to buy an Xbox One at any price. Just like if you walked into a cell phone store to buy a iPhone, you will not change your decision and buy a Samsung just because its $100 less.
Tech stores are thin margin businesses. Gamestop works on high margins with used products. I can't see how this is a good idea for them and how they will compete. They will become the next radio shack.
I think its healthy for franchises to move off the yearly holiday release schedule. As long as the game is good it will still sell well.

Just finished this game today it was fantasic. I have no idea what game the reviewers were playing. If this game was published by EA it would have got 9 out of 10's.
I understand re-releasing games that didn't sell well, but it makes no sense to me for them to re-release games that everyone who bought next-gen systems either played or have no interest in.
