It's a fun game for sure. But anything with a 6-8 hour campaign doesn't deserve anywhere near the praise that Uncharted gets. To a lot of people, that's barely scratching the surface of potential.
It's one thing to talk about the newer FF launches, that seems fashionably cool lately. But I'll be DAMNED if anybody is going to talk shit about my Triple Triad!
TLDR: Pirates are bad. Anti-piracy article disguised as a gaming piece.
PC Version is the beta.
Probably right Dude, but it still has a chance of being popular with the FF11 crowd if they can right the ship before the Ps3 launch.
Getting a little tired of seeing this site posted as news. Nobodies going to argue SE is declining rapidly.. but seriously? Stock prices? In the middle of a goddamn worldwide recession? Why don't you go ahead and take a peak at the ACTIVISION-BLIZZARD stock in the past 3 years? MW2, Guitar Hero, neverending WoW subscriptions... should be a home run right?

Everybody knows the PC version is just beta for the Ps3 to begin with.
I personally think it will be vastly approved. Even before release, I always looked as the PC version as a long beta for the Ps3 version..
I'm all for this game flopping, but come on. 7.0 for graphics?
Think Microsoft/Xbox LIVE points. It's squares version of the exact same thing. You buy the points, and use them to fund subscription fees/security tokens/etc.
Source clicked the European site, its tonight for people in North America. Timezones, etc.
It effects everybody. God forbid the news isn't posted 100% simultaneously in every language on the planet..
"This is how World of warcraft succeeded. People with low-end systems were capable of running the game while having the game still look good."
"having the game still look good"
Lol. For every casual like yourself, there's a hardcore itching for the eyecandy. And these are the people who would play EQ anyway... let the casuals have WoW.
It's an MMO. They announced it last year after 4 years of development. Google Project Rapture.
Drawing board isn't really necessary, they just chose their market wrong. This would have sold a lot better if it were on the Ps3.
To me, it entirely relates to whether I'm first person or third person.
When I'm in first person, I agree with you. When I'm in third person.. well, I'm playing from a floating camera following my character around from an equidistant point behind. In order to look to the left and still keep my character in the middle of the screen, I would have to swing the above camera around to the right.
Makes perfect sense that way to me. Anything else fee...
This has nothing to do with game development, and everything to do with game support. It was stated because FFXIV's release date was announced, and one of FFXIs most notorious problems was Japanese GMs who barely spoke english and had trouble understanding/catering to the needs of western players.
He's not talking about changing their games. He wants to give you more localized support.. and you somehow see a problem with this? Unbelievable.
There's over 20 levels, 6 worlds where the levels take place.. just to clarify.
Also find it funny that you would mention lack of replayability as a flaw in the same reply that you say platinum requires too much replaying.
Lol, so fake. Two words: Nintendo Revolution.
Yay I did it. Give me a cut nVidia!
