I like the fact they are giving Astro a run for their money. I own both the Astro A50s and the TB Stealth 500x, and the 500x is more feature rich and more flexible with it's downloadable EQ settings. Astro needs to pick up in the EQ area. That being said, the A50's sound good too, so it's a tough market to sell to with such good headsets by BOTH companies.
I honestly wonder how many of the 440k were hardcore versus casual SF fans? Personally, and it's just my opinion, I would definitely waited for a more content rich game, which means added features. That being said, seems like there are a group really enjoying it, and good for them.
Yeah I agree, the more customers they could support (e.g. consoles) the more that most likely would have considered funding too.
I'm glad I took the time to read this. Makes me second guess my want to purchase one and I am going to do even MORE research into it before I decide.
It will be interesting to see if EA has any NEW IPs that surprise the world. We all know to expect the usual sports titles, and of course a Battlefield title of some sort. Speaking of sports titles, wonder if any more athletes want to be on an EA Sports cover with how things have worked out for the most recent (UFC 2 cover athletes. This whole EA Sports Curse is something I tell ya.
depends on how long those "episodes" are that will dictate if it's worth it or not. And of course the gameplay has to be good too.
I think that people just need to sit back and actually see what unfolds. There is no concrete plan in place in such that we need to see how MS implements the PC/Xbox partnership and how both sides of the fence can use what they are proposing. I am skeptical, but yet hopeful too.
Part of me wants to try one of these just to see where the craziness kinda started from. I've never tried the series and now watch my son play them, so he is my link into what Pokémon is all about.
I always get a slight chuckle when stories claim that game x could be the next big game in [insert type] genre. At the end of the day what is the measuring stick and how can we know if we haven't seen anything yet. That being said, I actually enjoyed my time with the original Titanfall and hope for big things from the next version, but until I see something I can't state anything about it.
a change in venue....in this case a different global conflict, is welcome as it will be different then current FPS titles.
Kirby in a mech-like suit. I am sold.
There are MILLIONS of people that don't have a gaming rig to play PC games, and the Xbox One is a cheap gaming solution to play those same games MS speaks about. Plus being able to play on your Xbox and go to PC, or vice a versa, is a plus with cross saves and whatnot. Xbox still has a place in the gaming world, and the bridging it with PC is a good thing, especially for MS who has more people to make game for now.
Yeah, VR is the future, there is no doubt about that, but what future is the question. Just around the corner, a year or two, or further before mass integration/acceptance.
Well, I hope they do things right. After the disaster of the Xbox One launch, and how they started to "fix" things and make some things "right", it is my hope they continue to do such things in the future.
I will keep an open mind to this retro console as you just never know, it might be the retro unit we are all looking for, then again, it might not. Want to see more information on it and what support it has from the dev-community.
I agree about it's charm. Along with it's gameplay comes a SF look, and imho, a photo realistic look would have taken away from the SF we know.
I am looking forward to Titanfall 2. Will be interesting to see where they go with the story. As for BIG games news, I get a feeling it will be good, but not as great as you anticipate.
I just love how any corporation thinks it's ok to try to trademark something people use EVERYDAY. It's so stupid.
What I love about articles like this is that everyone has their faves and non-faves. In the end it gets us talking about what we like and not like. Regardless I don't think this list is what I would have totally put down, but hey, to each their own I guess.
The Xbox brand won't be going away anytime soon, and MS is still committed....to the Xbox BRAND. Now, some people have concerns about the Xbox CONSOLE, but only time will tell. I personally look forward to see what MS will do here.
