But yet Gaming Headsets only have 2 drivers (1 per earcup) and a really good home theater can have 5.1, 7.1, 9.1 or 11.1 in terms of speakers. How are 100's of sounds going to be so directional. Atmos is amazing already. I will be indeed watcing, or listening if you want it, to learn how this will all be managed to be put into full use.

I keep my expectations somewhat guarded for Switch games, but given that this racing game can be taken on the go, or played at home, I am very intrigued by what the preview noted. Sure, it's not Forza or Gran Turismo visuals, but what do you expect on the Switch? Regardless, to see a developer attempting to put an actual real car (NOT KART) racing game on the Swtich is impressive.
You forget that we are going to see a list of titles that will be 'patched' for 4K support that does take advantage of the hardware (ReCore, Gears, and various 3rd parties). And what about the 'supersampling' that the X1X will offer for those with 1080p There is a lot of tech that a lot of people can enjoy without a 4K TV, as that is not the only reason to buy it. Just sayin' In the end though, people should be cautious as I don't think the X1X will be for everyone,...

In many ways the last 3 years of Destiny was a LONG ASS BETA. It seems like Destiny 2 should have been the Destiny we got, then maybe we wouldn't have had to forget all the hard work some of us did in continuing playing. I know that I will buy it, if not only to play online in PvE with my friends, like we did with the original Destiny. Moving to 4v4 for PvP isn't my cup of tea. Although I consider myself an Xbox Loyalist, these numbers are impressive indeed, and shows how Sony made the right choices, makes damn good games, and has been clicking on all cylinders. It's a job well done indeed.
you know, I want Nintendo to succeed, but goddamn, some of the decisions they make just baffle me. Looking at the specs third parties are going to have to dumb down games from the "current generation" of consoles to run nearly as well as anything on the PS4 or Xbox One that is being ported over. I think the portable factor is great, but as Reggie said, it is a HOME CONSOLE first, and for a home console it's very, very under-powered at this stage of the game.
No one likes to pay more, but it has been a steady price for such a long time, even when the dollar had tanked before. That being said, sure, I am not happy, but it's only $10.00 for the year more, or about 82 cents or so a month. So when you think of it like that, it's not TOO bad.

I am sorry you haven't been reading all the information and interviews, it is a HOME console that has the option to be portable. Reggie even said that it's a home console with this feature and that at this time, the 3DS is their portable alternative for portable only gaming. So with that in mind, you should indeed be comparing it to OTHER HOME CONSOLES. Yes, I just yelled that.
This kinda peaks my interest for a Switch racer.
This is funny. During a time when MS continually gets bashed for relying on sequels from first party studios, Nintendo announces yet ANOTHER Zelda, ANOTHER Mario, ANOTHER Mario Kart (which is much the same from Wii U version but with Battle, a few new tracks and characters) and some wonky motion sensing games, and they are given numerous passes. It's a funny world we live in.
For a game that has been in development for SOOOOO long, it should have ZERO issues. And the fact that the best playing mode, technically speaking, is the 1080p mode on the PS4 Pro, is unacceptable. Sure, story and environment are part of the equation, but technically the game is not nearly what it should be. Why does it get a pass on these issues then?

But given that is seems (at this point) to he only headed to the PS platform (unless I am missing something) that Sony would have paid for exclusivity for a remake. Makes you wonder why they didn't go for something new.
If they did release it as a stand alone, and charged what remasters are priced at, a full 59.99 generally (69 or more in canada) then people would complain at that. Do the math, you're getting two games, 5 modes (Infinity Warfare is SP, MP, and Zombies (co-op) / MW Remastered is SP and MP) and a lot of content for your money with the bundle.
