Xiii-2 and lightning returns were definitely enjoyable games for me.

I spent far more time in the online modes of uncharted 2 and 3 than I ever did in the single player modes. This news does suck.
I've just picked up syndicate. The first Assassins Creed game I've ever played and I'm loving it. It's a bit repetitive, but on the whole it's really enjoyable. You're right. MGS V Is the worst metal gear game what with story, characters, writing, bosses, charm, etc all lacking, but as an Mgs fanboy, I can't help but hold onto the desperate hope that something is brewing. So many hints and signs towards mysterious new content. It just didn't feel right ending the way it did.
Wheres CTF? Where's the awesome maps? Individual voices? Lacking in every aspect...

As a fan of portable ops, I think mgs is fine without him. At the very least something can be made that feels like a metal gear game if they get the right people.
Kojima gave up after MGS 4. He ruined big boss's story arc with peace walker and V. You can talk shit about konami all you want, they probably deserve it, but it doesn't change the fact the choices made for story, writing, design, etc were made by Kojima.
