Xiii-2 and lightning returns were definitely enjoyable games for me.

You're right. MGS V Is the worst metal gear game what with story, characters, writing, bosses, charm, etc all lacking, but as an Mgs fanboy, I can't help but hold onto the desperate hope that something is brewing. So many hints and signs towards mysterious new content. It just didn't feel right ending the way it did.

As a fan of portable ops, I think mgs is fine without him. At the very least something can be made that feels like a metal gear game if they get the right people.
Kojima needs to make something else now.
