I remember SNES/Megadrive days, i cant remember a single argument over spec thou. Just lots of Truxton, Street Fighter and Dr Pepper :D
Edit: No i dont remember that advert, probably just an american thing. Here in the UK me and my mates agreed the graphics looked a little better on the Megadrive on some games but nobody cared. If you did think like that and dismissed the SNES because of it you really missed out :(

Exactly my thoughts pal, graphically it looks better that Fallout 3 and most seemed to agree it was a class game.
The game looks great but the self-entitled gamers of this generation will complain about anything.

I've built a fair few gaming rigs in my time and found a fluctuation in frames (+/-, even by a little) pretty common place, even on the higher end builds but its nothing to worry about and hardly ever noticed it in the heat of the action.

I don't feel the lack of dedicated Servers will have as much negative impact on Uncharted as it does for games such as COD. I just mean with regards to the pace and style of fighting.

I think its money, the longer it takes to develop the game the more it costs in man-hours. This then eats into profits.
Putting expensive time and effort into the platform they lose the most revenue on due to SW piracy doesn't seem a particularly shrewd business move if their main objective is profit margins.
I'm no expert, just an opinion.
It could be a sequel or new IP but its probably Alienation, i'm kinda surprised the article didn't mention it.
I understand sales numbers have no direct impact on our lives but larger sales numbers may attract more 3rd party support for that system - that does interest us!
