I agree. The only other next gen game to rival Ryse graphically was Quantum Break. Of course another game only on Xbox One.
Ironside is still active doing voice work for animation. They didn't want him. The devs claimed it was because they needed an actor who could do the mocap animations as well as voice overs. They could have hired any mocap actor to handle the action while Ironside did the VO. It isn't Splinter Cell any more to me.
Who cares? I thought this was hinting at a possible Virtua Fighter 6. Oh well.
Why would they be responding to the PS4's specs? The PS4 has shown no games (I mean literally none) that would force them to react in the least. Think about it. X1 games were running on powerful X1 dev kits and later MS announces each X1 will be a dev kit (or THE dev kit). Coincidence? We'll soon find out at Hotchips.
Actually MS never revealed how many TFLOPS were in their console.
Unless the PS4 has a hypervisor like the X1 it's now has less available ram for games. If these rumors prove true of course.
You believed the rumors didn't you? Don't. MS already confirmed on twitter long ago that there aren't any yield issues. There's a lot misinformation out there.
I hope it's a next gen Soul Calibur but I doubt it. It'll probably be current gen visuals ported up.

I get the impression Microsoft has a stockpile of nukes about X1's power that they are waiting to drop on Sony nearer to the launch date. All this X1 power info coming from MS lately seem like controlled leaks. Way too convenient.
Get it right. First party games were running on X1 hardware. Ryse, KI, Forza were all running on X1 hardware. PS4's on paper specs have little value just like PS3's cell processor specs meant squat in actual game performance. They have to exceed and not match X1 in graphics performance in games.
Gddr5 means as little to me as the Cell processor did. Get back to me when they prove it.
Sony can get back to me when they actually prove it. I doubt there will be any graphical improvement over X1. Prove me wrong Sony.

Battlefield I'm not sure about. KI and Ryse were running on X1 hardware.
Microsoft have said the X1 is the most powerful console. There is even a day one achievement unlocked for it.
