If Metal Gear Solid 4 isn't announced at E3 I think the rumours will die. It will have been a year (almost) since it was released.

What you fail to realise is that the graphics score of Gears 2 is compared against the graphics of other xbox 360 games, it has nothing nor does it have a comparison to any PS3 game.
Also why do you assume it is the graphics that cannot be done?

Microsoft bragged about trying to 'steal' Sony exclusives a few years back and by doing so they have taken a step back. I mean the biggest announcement they've had in the past year is getting a game to be multi-platform.
