While I am getting it day 1, I can see this having underwhelming sales (especially how Sony advertise) like other great games (Fahrenheit, ICO, Shadow of the Collossus).

Heavy Rain is the type of game that will get a lot of excellence awards but won't be a GOTY Contender. It's too short.
I have a US PSN account, but if you don't have a US credit card with US address you can't buy things (at least from the traditional sense).
I haven't read the article (because the title indicates it's a load of rubbish) but I would guess because Halo Wars and ODST haven't reached Halo 1, 2, 3 numbers he would see if as a failure, despite the fact one of them is a RTS and the other is more an expansion then a full game.
I imagine Reach is going to sell many many millions.
