Gran Turismo isn't a Grand Touring Simulation. Its just Driving Simulator, and has some parts of Racing Simulation but nothing close to GTR, but yes, a Driving Simulator as its been called since it greated the genre on consoles (Driving sim). It simulates driving quite accurately as Tanner Faust/Top Gear/Ferrari/Citroen/BMW and many others can attribute to the quality of the simulation.

Sure, the game will run at a higher resolution, more AA, maybe some different pixel shaders here and there, but unless they do a full renovation of the code they made to port for the 360's arcade unit without a hard drive. Expect the jump from COD4console/PC. Or GTA4/pc. In the case of GTA4 Rockstar did spend some extra lovin on the PC version, but its still not really Crysis vs Gears.
The only thing I hate about multiplatforms is its killing the point to make hardware crunching ...
Sony has done great things for gaming this gen, commercials aren't one of their pros.
