Hardware problem, it's well documented.

You can either:

- Shutdown PS4, unplug for 2 mins and plug it back in - fixed

or

- Power off, locate the manual eject screw under the HDD cover, 1/4 turn anti-clockwise. Power on and test.

Failing that, its probably knackered.

Possibly the worst site I've ever encountered, massive adverts covering most of the content on each page with no obvious way of closing them down.

Fail!

"My dream is NeoGeo games with online play."

Heh yeah I had that exact thought when Neo Geo Station turned up on PS3 a few years back. Sadly, it didn't pan out that well.

The netcode was shocking and after an hour or two of waiting for a matchup on Super Sidekicks I gave up. Managed one or two games on KOF '94 and '95 but that was about it sadly.

Best bet for Neo Geo stuff, get MAME with a Kailerra client and see if you ...

Lets be honest, Sony removed the B/C compatibility as they ultimately knew this was coming.

The initial argument was cost of components, after a few years the components are cheaper and B/C could easily be reintroduced but it makes more sense to make a 'new' slimmer console and add a larger HDD to keep the retail price high. Even though the cost of adding larger HDD in each iteration is gonna cost peanuts, it keeps the RRP around the price the PS3 was about 4 years ag...

Don't make that mistake of selling your PS3. Keep it, when PS+ updates come about you can take advantage of the 4 games a month you will get across both consoles.

Speaking from experience, I sold my PS3 a month before the PS4 launch and regretted it after a month or so. Bought another one about 3 months back and bought a few games I missed out on. At the moment, both consoles compliment each other.

Without playing it, i'd say it looks more like Infamous with lots of colour and quirky weapons.

Personally I don't see a service that is dependable upon Sony's network as a viable, long term option being worthy of a £20 a month subscription fee.

I've bought or presently own any legacy platform games I have any interest in. PS+ fills the gap of introducing me to random games for £40 a year.

"And sure you might also like to point out the number of remastered games this gen is bigger than at the beginning of previous gens but fail to notice the number of games being developed in GENERAL greatly exceeds that of previous gens."

That isn't actually the case, there's a guy who has done one or two blogs on N4G that shows the number of games per gen has decreased quite dramatically since the PS1. Will have to see if I can find 'em.

Yu Suzuki deserves at least an honorary mention I think, else I would give him Kamiya's spot.

He was behind most of Sega's biggest hitters back in the 80's and 90's. I guess if Shenmue hadn't sucked Sega dry he would be on par with Miyamoto in that list.

No, we're not insane. Just not stupid enough to pay 17 a month for a rental service.

If you're renting games that have some monetary value, like something new then yeah fair enough if that's how you prefer to game then go for it.

Paying 20 a month for games from a legacy platform is insane. Take into account here, if you're paying 20 a month you want maximum usage from it. If you're using PS Now all the time, you're not playing PS4 gam...

Think you missed the point a bit, it's about the most traded in game during the Christmas period.

Personally I figured it would be Fifa 14 but there you go. GTA5 was only a couple hundred behind COD.

Deal isn't that good, in the run up to Christmas anyone who uses the Hot UK Deals website would have seen tons of deals that were far better than this.

Never got on with TSNE, I was always the first to go then you're sat there watching people hide in a corner for 4 minutes. :/

Feel sorry for kids whose parents are picking up PS4/XB1 with this bundled for Christmas.

Playing this on Christmas day would be like seeing your family pet walk into your living room, your eyes light up and a smile spreads across your face as you reach out to stroke him...then he decides to take a shite on your hand, joypad and console.

All in all, it's been a pretty crap year full of empty promises, remasters, remakes, delayed and broken games.

I'll be shuffling through my backlog of PS3/Xbox360 games and may abandon my PS4 until Phantom Pain comes out (maybe).

@BallsEye

Have to say that's true. A few weeks later when DC still had server issues people were still hyped for weather effects. Like it was suddenly going to make the game better than what they were already playing.

Personally I don't understand that point of view. It's weather, It's not going to change how much I enjoy a game. Not being able to tinker with camber, gear ratios, tyres, LSD settings etc is where it falls down for me.
