well that's the price of 4k assets. it will be alot more if they push open world graphics to very high resolution on asset.

it's not just that, it has ties to a developer that has a history of making unfinished games and abandoned when gets enough cash and thn start another project. also the trailer on youtube has comments disabled, forum mods are deleting any negative comment about the developers.

honestly are you serious? it looks good but better thn 90% ps3 games? only thing it got is small texture update and some lighting + ambient that doesnt make it a ps3 game. also the 1440p on ps4 pro some how looks bad thn the 1080p on ps4 on a 4k tv. check out digital foundry article.
yea we have seen battlefield and battlefront games before many time that looked even better thn reveal, so no worries here same engine! ;). its not ubisoft we're talking about.

this. also its frostbite we are talking here and it has the history of some of the best looking game with virtually no downgrade from reveal to release. similar tricks and scripts were used, how naughty dogs do with uncharted.

they could have improve it a bit more it looks a bit sharper and colorful using pcsx2 with custom shaders on PC and we can still have international job zodiac in english patch on PC so essentially similar on PC.

while the switch is an incredible portable console and worth the price perfectly, its not significant more thn wii u while docked. the article weirdly listed tFLOPS of switch in fp16 and other consoles in fp32. switch is around 512gFLOPS if it can run to max possible clocks but switch even in dock mode is underclocked so its much less thn 512gFLOPS.

@dcbronco - theres no way next gen will have native 4k/60fps. next gen most likely coming late 2020 no way console can mange 4k/60 in this time frame. 4k/30 fps or checkerboard/60fps seems more reasonable.
@AspiringProGenji - 30fps is not very bad except u cant achieve 30fps lock on any soul/bloodborne on ps4.

well that argument would be good if amd had launch these around the same time frame as 1070-1080gtx. these are more than 1 year old now. amd shouldtarget 1080ti for high end, else it will be same old story with volta releasing soon after vega.
