well thos graphics are still not achieved yet, games has alot of years before it can be similar to these movies in term of animations, physics, lighting/illumination/shadow.
that's not true at all, the 1070GTX is amazingly priced tho now that 1080GTX is 100$ it's better but there is no answer from amd so far.
Edit: im not even talking about best, but dollar for performance ratio.
well the kingdom hearts series didnt happen on xbox as well, yet xbox getting 3. they could still bring 3 before the collection.
well the titan is similar performance to a OC 1080ti. so if a ti can do 4k/80fps it's impressive.
ofc that's not for you nor did nvidia force it, you could buy ti thats alot cheaper and can pull similar performance with some OC.
what are talking about lol? all the multiplatform are much better on PC, it has emulation support, classics and many exclusives too. ifact now almost every xbox exclusive is on PC.
i find it funny that some people think that PS games are the only real games, wake up guys there are enough games on every platform that can keep u busy until maybe u r dead lol.
that's not exactly true, ps4 wasnt so full of content it sold cos was cheaper and powerful.
actually yes to a degree, emulation is getting better. while it may not run cemu it can do dolphin to a degree with such specs.
that's how console upgrade in generations by increasing power/features unlike a certain company that doesnt upgrade much power between generations. /s

@FinalFantasyFanatic - Vega frontier is not a Firepro(workstation) replacement, it's a titan x competitor. its funny how everyone calling vega fe a workstation grade card when it cant compete with nvidia's high end in gaming. vega is missing many feature that a firepro card have. there is a reason amd dont calls it firepro or price it similar coz it's not.
yup,it will be great i hope it comes to PC too. im still waiting for Ao series to come before starting cold steel series!. fall 2018 will be great hopefully we may see Ao localization too.
its a titan x class card, it's not a firepro card. if titan can do gaming better at similar price this should not be excuse here.

true, current pixel movies has some very natural looking animations/interactions. games are not there it will take time to get that level of CGI.
well those arent the only thing that makes photorealistic. Uncharted or other games do have amazing sceneries and characters model its far from photo real when it comes to animations/interactions/ with 3d objects or physics it all looks so unnatural.
doubt if we can get to that level it isnt just about power it will need huge amount of work which may not justify for any company.
@andrewsquall - the problem is both were targeting 4k where microsoft is still closest to the target, even when both use checkerboarding xbox can look better and use higher assets, consoles have always use these PR terms to sell its not like n4g was full praises of microsoft, no it was opposite here. tho ps4 hold the advantage due to it's vast and varied library, it can get away this gen.
that's not true atall. the cutscene in RnC are close to pixar the gameplay not. also the recent pixar movies are far ahead of what we have in games today. the fluid animations/physics/GI games are not close let alone surpassing.
