Way too much. This looks like a legit game.
I don't see it. Most are not going to use a keyboard and mouse on their couch or recliner. If you are playing games on a desk like a PC then sure. But consoles are typically living room, big TV devices and that doesn't jive very well with a clunky keyboard and mouse setup.
Calling it GOTY already? lol....you haven't even played it.
"Why do people care so much about agrees vs disagrees?"
Seriously. Who gives a shit?
Avalanche is the rumored dev.
Well....they might as well announce the game now....whoever they are.
That is a fact. I read one of his collections. It wasn't bad, but my interest in Geralt from the game is the only thing that really compelled me to continue reading. It certainly wasn't Sapkowski's writing. lol. To be fair, it is a translation so maybe it is better in Polish. Don't know. Don't really care. Fact is, Sapkowski sold Witcher for a song and now he is bitter about it. If the original Witcher had lost money would he had offer to give some money back to CP...
Bitter.
Old.
Man.

DerekTweed, nailed it. Ultimately what The Han is saying is that Xbox isn't that important to Microsoft. I don't agree with that at all. MS continues to invest in Xbox so obviously it is important.
PG is great. I have a lot of faith in them. I think The Initiative will have everything it needs to produce top quality AAA games. So there is definitely room for optimism.
@hexd0rk1
"They’re definitely better than Guerrilla Games lol how’s Killzone coming along btw? "
GG moved on to Horizon and it is fabulous, thanks. I'll let you know when they started making racers and then we can compare....m'kay?
Of course, they take the competition business seriously. You think their stock holders would just let MS throw around all that money on whims? You really don't have a clue about how this really works do you?
Five years in and Xbox is "laying the groundwork". That just puts an exclamation point after what a ridiculously bad gen this has been for Xbox One. But yes, the future is looking up. Once the new studios get moving on some games then maybe, hopefully we will see some quality first party games that are lacking so badly.
You said “they added” but whatever
Barn finds? That isn't new.
@sampsonon
lol.....what an incredible overreaction.
He quit Polygon. Now he is slumming for escapist apparently.
"Everyone already knows PS5 is coming next year..."
oh bullshit. No one knows anything.
That was huge load of unsubstantiated fluff.
Personally, I had no expectations. I never played the first game. But I agree that a larger budget and better story would have made a big difference.
Ah yeah.....Avalanche Software, not Avalanche Studios. Wish one of them would change their name.
