Wow this is ridiculous. Who cares about such an insignificant difference? I understood is back when PS3 ports were a heap of turd, but now most games are close enough on both systems to make articles like this laughable. I didn't notice ANY screen tearing in the demo, and every screenshot i have seen looks exactly the same on both consoles.
The only rel determining factor is controller. And whether you care about exclusive content.

Due to not being in the room during start up, i didn't see the UE logo, so played the demo without knowing. It looks great on PS3, considering UE!

Yeah my 60GB is like that. I'm considering getting a Slim for that reason, and either seling this one on eBay or putting it in the front room as a BD player
It's mainly a much smaller system, therefore reducing both weight and amount of plastic (reducing costs in shipping and manufacture).
There's rumours it might have 45nm chipsets too, which as well as being much cheaper to produce, take up much less space, and produce less heat.
The Slim also no doubt contains a new cooling system, instead of the HUGE fan that is currently in there. Could have a smaller blu-ray drive too, as the PS3 one is a mammoth.

I have an EU launch 60GB, which is understandably pretty loud. But i gave it a quick suck with the vacuum cleaner (oo, err!) and it worked wonders. I think it's quieter now than it ever has been.
The lack of MGS3 in this arrticle is sad.
MGS3 is my favourite ending ever. That ending cutscene with the voiceover by EVA is so tearjerking.

I'm pleased for Eidos.
This isn't really my type of game, but i saw there was massive anticipation, and the store update was crap, so i went ahead and downloaded it yesterday. I played it earlier today and, apart from hating the camera, i really enjoyed it. It pushed me to preorder it anyway, which is what a demo should do.
Like i said, pleased for Eidos, they haven't had a decent game in a while. Hopefully this brings in some money for them :D
