Yes.. the ‘side quests’... are really nothing but.. ‘go kill this monster’.

When was turning off sunlamps part of the original?
When was talking to a landlord part of the original?
And so on... There are parts of the game where it is obviously pulled from the original and REMADE to the modern setting.... too bad it’s not like that the entire game. Hell.. you can get the ultima weapon in this game.. lol. like wtf...

Part 2 should have been in development well before Part 1 was released. I anticipate it coming out next year or the year after. (it shouldn’t be longer than 3).
The game is very well done. It’s a true shame that it ends at the end of Midgar.. I do like seeing the Avalanche characters in more detail and getting to know them more before.... ya know...
What will happen with Part 2/3 if you’ve leveled up all of your current materia and weapons in this game? When you’re maxed out? Does Part 2 become an over-leveled cake walk?

What specific differences will the Xbox Series X offer that the PS5 won’t be able to offer? What games have we seen to make said comparison?

They have the character models, they have the assets... the have a solid foundation. Part 2 and 3 will probably come out on a 2 year timeframe.

The game is called... “Final Fantasy VII Remake” Not... Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 1. If we are only exploring Midgar, literally 1/8 or 1/10 of the original game.. it can’t be called a complete game with the name only.
The first google definition of ‘complete’ includes... “includes all necessary or appropriate parts”
