POE and POE are ‘AAA’ games? Could have fooled me.
The fact is KOTOR2, Fallout NV and South Park SoT are the reasons for why they are so ‘known’ today. Don’t act like they are so popular because of Alpha Protocol, Skyforge, and Dungeon Siege 3.

I’m just going to say it. Obsidian seems like a good studio, but if one goes through their record, you’d see a studio that is really hit or miss when it comes to making their own IP. I’ll leave it to MS to give Obsidian an established IP instead of making something brand new from scratch.
Only real ‘AAA’ games they’ve made are KOTOR2, South Park, SoT, and Fallout:New Vegas... No new IP has been that critcally received and regarded. People are claiming it’s a good pick up......
Yeah. They are really pushing gamepass. They are claiming that Gamepass is increasing game sales.. (is it really?). They might really be moving towards a streaming platform of digital games.
Alpha Protocol and Dungeon Siege 3 were poorly receieved.
I don’t think Skyforge was that good. It had a pay to win scheme that resulted in many of the players quitting.
Some OK games have been Amored Warfare, Wastelands 2 (also made by inXile).
Stormlands never came to fruition (literally failed to deliver the game).
Good games: KOTOR2, Fallout New Vegas, and South Park: SoT.

I really miss the turn based combat of these games. It had a sense of strategy to it.

Is the success of all of the new studios an indication of the success of Xbox/Microsoft next gen? Which studio’s poor performance will make the biggest impact if it occurs?
Xbox has been hanging on by a thread known as Forza Horizon this generation. A few A-AA studios making weak games won’t matter if the big studios are making good/great games bc there will always be that niche of people who will play the weaker games by the newer studios, just because they feel obligated...
Can we be so sure that the studios will focus on single-player games? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

I guess you are right. However, with my current backlog of games, and games that I will be playing in the future, it’s not conducive for me to be investing in another system.
I do wish the studio luck on their journey with Xbox, but I won’t be there to play their games. It’s a shame because I did like Hellblade.
It's a shame. I bought Hellblade on my PS4 and got the platinum for it. , and I probably won't be buying an Xbox for the next Ninja Theory game.

It could have had more story content. I beat it on Ultimate in an hour in a half, and that includes doing some side stuff in between.
People are making it an issue now. So how can you say it's not an issue now?

Eating wasn't a requirement of the game in SA. That's the problem.
How is keeping all of the guns on a horse any more realistic than keeping them on his person?? --- it's not.
Until i can sell digital games, there's no reason to buy then for me
