I agree. There are alot of "AAA games" for it tho. It's quite the system. It just needed cheaper memory cards and a bit more AAA support.
The point is games should have campaigns. Why alienate gamers who want a different experience with their purchase? I get no entertainment from pure MP games.

PS3 was at $500 and $600, not $700. Considering a Blue-Ray player at the time was more than the the console itself, backwards compatibility, internal wifi, internet browser and rechargable batteries.. the price was justified.
Sure, the Cell Processor was proprietary and hard to work with, but it got done.
