The emperor trophy is a whole different story. It's the single most BS ever. I despise the devs for putting that in. They obviously don't know what trophies are suppose to stand for.
Or maybe they can use their existing PCs?

I actually really enjoyed the Dead Space 2 trophy. I managed to get through half the game without saving. After that it wasn't too bad, but those QTEs that can instant kill you, putting you back 1.5 hours got real intense.
The KZ2 Valor trophy was a crock of ****. I basically had to do nothing for a week except play KZ literally the whole day. I managed to get 16th in the world for that week.
I was actually getting a little disappointed I wouldn't be able to play Scalebound. Now I can play it on my PC. Yay.

Ergo, absolutely no reason to waste my money on an xbone and waste more money of a subscription.
We'll see how much developers are happy about this and actually optimise their games for the new hardware.
Personally, I have no idea why anyone would buy into this when they can have a PC that can do so much more including free mods and dedicated servers for more games AND... it's doesn't require a pointless yearly subscription.
