As a PS4 owner this is great news.
Not just because the dev team deserve it, but other publishers will be looking at this and seeing the risk paid off so they might be more inclinded to invest in new IPs in the future.
While you're technically correct, win10 is an open platform, so ms doesn't get any extra money from a PC purchase.
