You really need to take a closer look if you think they're the same.
One side are guys that like the female form. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. They won't demand it, but if a game has it it's likely to sell more.
Have you ever seen a large portion of gamers cry "omg! this game doesn't have decent tits in it! I demand decent tits!" or "This game's protagonist is female. No buy!"

With publishers having the monopoly and a complete lack of any competition or secondary market, how many years would releases remain at $60 and never dropping in price?
Perhaps I'm being even too generous there. Do you think games would even stay at the $60 price and not go up?

To be fair, it's not the cosplay girls complaining, at least that's true for the vast vast majority of them. Like people have been saying here, they know exactly what they're doing. They're dressing up for attention, and they want people to look.

I often asked myself the same question.
After 2 generations in a row (3 generations now) of coming out at the start, releasing an acceptable amount of games to basically only releasing a couple a games a year halfway through the generation, I have no idea why anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together that has a shred of self worth would buy an xbox.
And now ms are doing the exact same thing with the xbone, only even worse. And people are actually surpris...
I have no issue Zelda getting good reviews. I played Horizon and it's a maste piece. I'm prepared to say it's the best game I've played this gen. Zelda getting good reviews isn't going to affect that at all.
But what does piss me off is the perfect 10s zelda is getting from so many sites when there are obvious technical glitches that any other game would be marked down for. Then nin fanboys come in and say in their high pitched voices "See?!? Zelda ...
They probably see all the nin fans bending over for the overpriced, very cheaply made switch and think to themselves "If nin fans are so readily going to bend over, we'll charge extra for our game."
That's what I would do.
The cheap hardware including the tacky plastic screen is very cheap of them. Considering nin is charging well over the price of a much more powerful and feature rich PS4, and built it with under powered components (Zelda doesn't even have AA, that's beyond a joke), you'd think they'd at least manufacture the switch with quality, durable materials, but no. It's pathetic.
I really hope nin fans demand better instead of bending over and doubling down.

What's sad is that is seems to be working on a lot of sheep.
If sales don't taper off I will be very surprised. The hybrid feature is nice, but in every other way it is a very underwhelming console with such a severe lack of games it's just not funny.
