That depends, are we talking about the first have of the generation where MS actually supported their console, or the second half where support basically fell off a cliff?
If xbox enthusiast are talking like this, I'm sitting here asking myself, why don't they get a ps4? And why the hell, after the abysmal support MS gave them (by their own admission) and push for GaaS are they talking like they're going to by the next xbox.

MS have done a very poor job of releasing exclusives, with this year being arguably their worst this gen, and thanks to all your blind spending you've enabled them to significantly increase their revenue.
So of course MS will continue on their current path. So congrats, you won't be getting any meaningful, deep gaming experiences that aren't riddled with shallow multiplayer and MTs ever again.

For me at least, the PS4 is at a point where I could very comfortably keep playing while waiting for the PS5.
But I can see MS trying to rush a console out early to get an advantage. I just hope if MS do that Sony is on the ball and release at that time or very soon after. Sony is clearly for the gamers and they deverse all the sales they get. They shouldn't miss out just because MS tries to be sneaky.
But considering the xbonex just released, I doubt...

I've been trying to sell my copy for months, no one wants it.
Obviously most of us sony fans acknowledge the xboneX is more powerful than the Pro, so it's no shock when some ports have a little bump in resolution, but when it's 1/4 the resolution, possible without HRD, and is the same quality as the xbonxS version, obviously someone's being lazy.
I plated it when it released, but due to the huge increase in the community thanks to it coming to PSN Plus I've put another 100 hours into it and can't seem to put it down.
Putting aside the ridiculousness of the article, actually, if you don't care about exclusives the PS4 is still the best console for 2 reasons.
1. You still get access to all the multiplats you'd have access to on the xbone, but chances are there's going to be a few exclusives in the console generation you're going to love on ps4.
2. With the PS4s much larger install base, the onlne community is bigger and more diverse and it's much eas...
And this is why I bought the game. I don't earn a lot of money so I mostly rent, but when developers do the right thing I like to support them.
And I'm one of those 95% that spend about 150 hours in the game and loved it.
But the head designer of the game is a "thilthy" gamergate supporter that had to audacity to speak out against the sjw infested games media, and we all know all GGers are racists and sexists even though #noyourshield, so his game needs to be vilified. /s
