From a common sense perspective, it's hard to believe xgp can be sustainable, even in it's current form of very little exclusives, let alone AAA experiences.

I tend to agree. It would be nice to be rewarded as an early adopter.
But there's nothing quite like the feeling of coming home with a day 1 console, enjoying the brand new experience with the community. It's not the same feeling getting it a year later.

At the time of the original xbone announcement it was clear what a disaster the launch was going to be after the 24 online check in and DRM.
