No idea what you're talking about. Party chat and invites work great for me. Patches download and install super fast for me as well. I never understand when someone says xbl is vastly superior.
The only thing I would change is updates to auto download when you first pop a disk in and it starts installing. It's so stupid then when I start the game, then the patch starts downloading so I immediately have to quit the game.

I wouldn't say the console sucks, but I'd argue the PS4 is a lot better.
Not so much because it's hardware is better, even though that's a major factor, but because of Sony's genuine commitment to the industry and their army of talented 1st party developers that are allowed to task risks.
Maybe people that don't want MS to have any kind of influence in the industry.
But the difference is yours are examples of mostly incompetence, where as MS was fully aware of how badly gamers were going to suffer for the ENTIRE generation under their draconian policies.
To be fair MS have made great strides in trying to right their wrongs, but I could never financially support a company that so obviously and arrogantly tried to screw over gamers just for some extra revenue.
Unfortunately, that means I'll miss out on some awesome exclusives, but it's a price I'm willing to pay. Besides, it seems like a lot of xbone exclusives make their way to PC anyway so I probably won't be missing out on too much.
