Yeah I played it and honestly I think it's a bit overrated. Now if they added stuff to do in the beatiful environments than I would of loved it but you could probably get the same experience watching it on youtube. And btw if this game was exclusive to Xbox do you think everyone on here would call it art and a masterpiece?

Well I don't think SE as a whole said it. Julien Merceron said it and he has nothing to do with Versus, so I think the title is a tad bit misleading. He was just sharing his thoughts and his mindset, not the company as a whole. But the only thing that matters is the title right?
If they stay true to what they originally said six years ago it will be a simultaneous release date worldwide, but who knows now.

Yaeh, they should surprise everyone and put someone like Red 13 or Nanaki in there.
Hopefully they save a few surprises for the game as hidden/unlockable characters. I also hope there are a lot of characters like in Brawl.
And btw why haven't there been a lot of villains announced. I feel like there should be a villain for each hero. Like Lazarevic or Flynn. I just think there should be villains that are announced.
Well, story wise JRPGs usually are deeper than WRPGs. I mean Skyrim's story was complete crap. Story is probably the biggest reason to play a JRPG. The characters are actually characters and not some customizable character that gives you a choice on what to say. And the Final Fantasy series is and always will be a better and more influential series than The Elder Scrolls in my opinion. And FF has sold its fair share too. Well if it's an RPG like Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts not everything needs to be voiced. It's just not necessary. I don't mind reading every now and again. I read through FF4,6,7,8,9, Chrono Trigger and a bunch of others, so I don't really mind.

FF 13-2's developement time wasn't long. They outsourced some of the parts to tri-ace to speed up developement times which is good.
Yeah hopefully Type-0 comes to the west cause I checked out the soundtrack recently and (I know not everyone will agree) it might have the best soundtrack in any FF game. It's pretty damn good. Who knows maybe we'll get on the Vita and it'll make use of the two analog sticks.

They're not forcing anything on you. A good number of people still want 13-3 because we played the first two and we want to know what happened to everyone. Yes, they are. Have you played any of the more recent games? They're pretty good and add a lot to the story. Despite being on portables with 1 or no analog sticks they play pretty well too.
For me trhis IS the best series ever. It was my first game as a kid and it changed my life. This is probaly the only reason I play the games I do and in turn, the only reason I come to this site. It introduced me to Final Fantasy and got me into JRPGs. I've loved every single game in the series and things just get better and better. I don't know what I'm going to do when it finally ends in the coming years.
