Yaeh the first person I thought of was Hugh Jackman. But I love Christian Bale and would watch anything he's in. I loved Batman. They should get Nolan as the director.
FF13 would be an example of one of the better stories. I'll admit the execution wasn't great, but if you took the time to truly understand what was happening it was one of the better stories in games. It connected to current events well. On paper it h had a lot of literary value that the fancy shmancy english majors would have appreciated. It had good symbolism, themes, and all that other crap movie critics and book critics love.
At least Hashimoto said look forward to it next year in a later Tweet. I don't know if he means release date or some kind of announcement though. And in 2009 they said it would not be at TGS, but it showed up anyway, so anything can happen. And the person who tweeted this was an atendee who supposedly spoke to Hashimoto. So, I'm not sure how reliable these Tweets are, but I'll just assume they are the truth.
But for now I suggest everyone just stop worrying and fo...
@Revolver
It's supposed to be a little more than Hack n Slash. Someone compared it to KH, but they said it wouldn't as much of button masher as KH is. So it should have a little more strategy to it.
The event is a couple of days long, so I'd assume there will be more FF stuff tomorrow.I don't know wether it will be a new game or just some special remembrance of everything FF though.
At first I didn't ask for another FF13, but since they gave us FF13-2 and I played it I now want this game, because I like conclusions.
I can't wait too. The Battle Syatem does seem interesting. It seems really interesting. The combat could be something new and really good or it could just fail completely. I was hoping there would be a party again in this game, but I guess this will be cool too. I wonder if everyone from the original is dead though.
And I love that people are freaking out about this being announced when it was hinted at for the past year. It's a shame no one will give this a chance be...
To be fair some of the titles are revealing. Whenever a character is announced the top story is something like Nariko confirmed for PS All Stars.
It didn't work for you? That's weird because it was as easy as watching a video on Youtube for me. It actually works pretty well. I played Hitman and it was nice to ge a good experience for free. The ads every 30 minutes actually isnt that bad of a deal for free.
Oh it's out and you played it. I didn't even know anything about it.
But seriously, as much as I would like them to move onto FF15, I need FF13-3. They started something and they can't just not give it an ending. I played both FF13 and 13-2 and I'll admit they weren't the best FFs out there, but they started a story and not finishing it would be SE giving the people who played both games the finger. I just hope they use FF13-3 as a learning experience lik...
There's an FF Aniversary event going on so he's probably getting asked about everywhere he goes and he has to say something, but since they have a specific date to talk about Versus he won't say anything about the game except wait. All I want to know now is when will they show it. It seems to be at TGS in a couple of weeks right now.
It's got a lot of content to it. I for one could not afford it, but some diehard out there will buy it. You get every main game in the series except 14 it appears. I don't know why they would leave at 14, but anyway there's a artwork, soundtracks, and a bunch of other crap that diehard fans with some extra cash will really enjoy.
If it's not there than I suggest everyone just forgets about this game and keeps there mouth shut until it does get more info. But I think it will be there though.
That seems like a more appropriate time for Versus. For the this event they should just focus on the past and all the great games they've made over the years and celebrate the people who have made them.
That's pretty cool. Is all that extra stuff just about FF14 or does it contain artwork, soundtracks, and other stuff for the other games too?
They should've had at least something to show when the announced it. I thought we would see it in action this weekend at the 25th Anniversary event, but now I'm not so sure. Why would they announce it if they had nothing done.
I never played DC1. Was Toan better than Max?
I wouldn't say they are dying, but I would say they are less prevalent. JRPGs used to be the games everybody played. We've had some good ones this gen, but (I don't know if it's because of nostalgia or not) the JRPG's this gen aren't as good as some of the classics. Those are all great games too though. And there haven't been as many JRPGs around either. PS1 had a ton of good RPGs. Now it's all about the shooters for most people.
Great. Now it needs more JRPG.
Yeah especially since Downey Jr. didn't even look like himself in Tropic Thunder. He was dressed up as a black guy until like the last scene.
