Do you have to just be a "Xbot fan looool" to be observant of other platforms?
If there's a game released I can play it. I'll leave your assumptions at that.
I'm not liking the future I feel I'm seeing Sony lead into.
This was just "contract workers" just the other day, apparently. Now it's one of the leads.
Anymore, the only first party actually being impressive is Insomniac. If what I've been shown prior to this, I think we're actually seeing Sony's GaaS future in action. The beginning of it, anyway.
The Last of Us recent release was so impressive. A marginal upgrad...
Nostalgia glasses. The game wasn't very good.
Not sure why so many people seem to be unaware that physical copies, nowadays, are still often tied to the system's online infrastructure.
Very lackluster game. Had high hopes for it, but it didn't cut it. Really only for people who appreciate the art of it all. It really doesn't deliver as the Myst title with obscene imagery it was trying to be.
There's absolutely no reason any of the big three couldn't put an emulator onto their systems. I was running an N64 on a damn PSP back in the day. It was choppy, but it worked. We're talking nowadays where even something like the Series S can run most emulators perfectly. The Steam Deck emulates Switch games better than the Switch runs them.
They used to release many different franchises on the regular in the time they now release one or two. They milk and milk everything they put out now, which is just RedDead and GTA. I'd hope they can put out something impressive with, basically, an unlimited budget and ten years per release.
We don't even get expansions anymore. Just credits for their online.
This was probably my favorite portable since the Gameboy color (and now SteamDeck). Was my childhood.
Around here, Bethesda only became "mediocre" the moment they were purchased by Microsoft. Weird, that is. People happily dealt with the bugs a game of their scope typically ended up with. They happily bought version after version of their re-releases.
Now they're just terrible. Their games are just terrible.
Something tells me a lot on here *gasp* just needs to build a proper PC, or *gasp* an Xbox.

If you were trying to imply I was up-voting my own comment, no. I wasn't
Otherwise you're just being immature over the voting system. I had a different take on the game than you were trying to throw out, and more people agreed with me than you (for now). That's a representation of the actual consensus; though I'm sure the alt-accounts will change that in due time on here.
Because Nintendo only cares about the Switch series at this point. That's fine, my PC, Steam Deck, and even Series S emulates your titles at a higher quality anyway.
You didn't list Planescape: Torment.
Amazon has a hard problem even releasing a proper game.
Exactly. It doesn't matter what you spent on a game if you're still going around and ruining the experience for others.
It's been a pretty great year for gaming.
@10
You call that a counter-point. There's hundreds of hours of quality content in the game; yet you have all these people harping on the weaker aspects of the game, yet never acknowledge all the things it actually does really well.
"waahh" I can't fly-fly to planets. There's barren planets, yet even then many offer missions and locations to explore. I have to spend a few seconds to fast travel to them. That will be my argument against that f...
Even if not, that offers no "oh thank you" to a company selling an ancient game, running at pathetic specs, considering they basically want new game prices for said old game with nothing but a slight boost here and there. I can emulate the game at 60fps no issues. The Xbox version looks and plays great. A weak port is a weak port; and the reason the only console they didn't put it on was Xbox is exactly what I'm talking about. Now we need to be grateful that a patch for the ...
Rockstar has been slipping and slipping for years now. Just relying on questionable re-releases. Most times not even handled by them.
It seems like their motive, nowadays, is just see how much you can sell your old content to the masses. Ohhh. You ported a game, after almost a full priced release, run at a whole 60fps, while both PC and Xbox have been doing it for years.
It's obvious it was only the Switch version they were actually worried about.
Isn't Sony also very aware of that; being they have about a dozen coming down the pipeline? Being that they paid billions for a studio just to direct them how to monetize their releases to their benefit. I don't see Microsoft pumping out supposed Gaas title after Gass title; despite constantly hearing that's the case. I sure do know that Sony, out of their own mouths, made a public statement on just that being a confirmation.
Did I say their games were bad? No.
I mentioned we see less and less of them, and now they only support microtransactions. We haven't seen expansions in any of their new releases.
Other than that, just lackluster to horrible ports of ancient games. At a pretty high price as well.
What an overly dramatic defense of a giant company that becomes less and less about the consumer.
