No it wasn't but it does have potential.
Fallout 3 really wasn't that great to me compared to Fable2. It was to glitchy and reminded me to much of oblivion.I would have given the award to Geow2 or L4D but in a way Fable did deserve it.

This chart isn't even factual lol. Just wait for the numbers at the end of the year from a nonbiased site. This is obviously a PS3 fanboy trying to prove a point by throwing up a fancy little chart. Everybody knows by now that 360 should beat PS3 by a pretty good margin and software wise the PS3 is big big trouble this year.
I see what your trying to say but honestly you don't know when it will end just like I don't. If it continues for a few years then fine but don't talk as if you know the future. My things is we've been here several times before and more then likely things will change faster we think. Also this is not only affecting PS3 but also the 360 even though the numbers look good. Let's just wait and see and just leave it at that.

We might as well write this year off simply because everything that's been happening is just unpredictable. The real question is what will happen after were out of the Recession and jobs are on a rise again? If things turn around soon then I'm sure sales will increase drastically compared to this year.
Definitely good news for Sony but still kind of weak considering all the exclusives they had and the year being deemed "the year of PS3"lol. 2009 however does look more promising for Sony in my eye's as soon as they announce a price drop and the recession ends. I've been saying all along that somewhere around 2009 and 2010 would be the year that PS3 started to take off when everybody else claimed 2007 and 2008. KZ2 is going to turn some heads next year so hopefully Sony takes advant...
And you PS3 fanboys need to realize that 360 is here to stay and will continue to dominate this generation over PS3 in software and services. Now it's great home is finally seeing the light day but ashame it's going to be playing catch up for awhile.
This movie is going to sell like crazy on just regular dvd to the point where I just don't see what's so amazing about bluray numbers.
Edit below: Now it does show that over the weekend it did decent but over time that 25 to 30% will drop to more like 8% as days goes by. I could see if these were the numbers in 3 months but it really just shows they had a decent outcome across all 3 territories. Disagree all you want folks but this is far from spectacular.

Screw Home and so tired of hearing about it. NXE is were it's at and will always be while home is playing catch up. Live growth is amazing by the way and has come along way and made a killing unlike PSN lol.

Gears should win this without a doubt. The other games although good were really nothing more then hype.

Did Sony ever actually give a release date for GOW3? If not then ten bucks says that it's quite possible given Sony's track record to push it back. I'm sure with the way the economy is doing and Sony as a whole that it will have some repercussions on release dates for expensive to make PS3 games. Maybe this is also part of the reason why MS let go of so many studio's to keep the flow of things happening instead of getting stuck in a bad position like Sony.
