300 is definitely lower than expected but these are physical copies so of course they are low. Xbox gamers are on a whole different level when it comes to playing and buying games online. We are the digital age and understand this much more than Sony gamers apparently. This is not the whole picture and I'm willing to bet actual numbers are much much higher.
It's definitely a good feature but are they going to allow PS4 to play ps2 games online like 360 games on x1? If they can pull this off once they start doing OG Xbox I see this being a good thing.
That's all true and I even agree but currently I prefer Xbox that's is until VR comes out and then Sony has my attention. That's just me being honest.
I don't care if Sony or whoever sold a billion consoles because I still don't want one. My preference is Xbox and those numbers mean nothing. I'm sure the same applies to those that don't care much for Xbox either.
@Elgordo
Well to be fair Sony did the exact same thing last gen! Didn't see you calling them cowards.

It doesn't matter who started first for the simple fact MS if offering a completely different BC experience. Also with rumors of original Xbox games coming I can see this really inspiring Sony.
I would pick one up just to play Warzone alone. Single player was a let down for me but still good just different. As a matter a fact multiplayer player is so good It's no wonder X1 fans are excited.
Or how about MS name the next machine Xbox 4 and then Xbox 5.
"I don't mean to discourage people's excitement, simply ask that they consider toning down their expectations for what is to come."
And this I agree with even though I believe expectations are already low. What gets us going is knowing what was once deemed impossible is actually now possible. I believe it's possibly a big deal but then again I'm not part of the gaming world as you claim to be and I don't need to be. My expectations or hopes are...
Then go play your streaming service games, that simple! If you cannot understand why we are excited for this tech then it's you that's late to the curve. I stand behind MS and hope them the best on this endeavor. This tech is not a joke and years ahead of Sony thinking and yours too apparently. Cloudengine tech is being created and tweaked right now from way smarter guys than you and I. Anyways I'm tired and not feeling like debating this. Go ahead and keep convincing yourself wh...
I'm pretty sure Sony could do this as well at some point but right now (at the current moment) it shouldn't be about them. MS is leading the way and I hope they can achieve what was once thought unthinkable. Until then I don't see any reason to talk much about the tech. Once we see it actually working in millions of households via Crackdown 3 beta we then should talk about its potential. Just to much Sony this Sony that being spun into everything not allowing those who deserve th...
It doesn't matter if PS4 can do it or not. Sony simply doesn't have anything like Azure. They could rent servers but we all know they're not going to do that. Right now MS has a huge advantage in Cloud computing which hopefully they take advantage of while Sony takes years to catch up.
By the time Sony catches on and up to this tech we will already be on Crackdown 6.
Happy Birthday Xbox 1. Looking forward to the future and what's to come. Year three should be named "The rise of the cloud"!
No not better but a bigger following obviously. Also these sales are not even accurate considering we never get digital numbers.
Best of luck Kudo!
I just want a game that catches my eye like half-life 2 did at E3 many years ago. DX12 or not it's up to the artists and devlopers to achieve what's already I assume possible. I don't care about res but do care about details.
@pesh
Absolutely!
I absolutely love single player games but prefer X1 because I get the best of both worlds.
Edit below: Sure you can but one will always offer a better experience.
For me it's Xbox1. Never really been to big on hype and prefer its games, controller and Xboxlive.
