I'm looking forward to the tech and hope it does well. Ashame MS isn't on this right now but oculus will be supported on X1 to at least some degree. Sony Is Doing the right thing by stepping in and pushing this forward. Soon everything will be different from games, movies and how we communicate. Hopefully this is a stand alone device and I will not need to buy a PS4. If not then so be it but I definitely stand behind VR.

So if Bloodborne were one day announced for pc or another platform it would no longer be exclusive. I see where everyone is coming from but TR is X1 exclusive in 2015.
Damn you kinect! Before it was announced Rare even had some really good OG Xbox and 360 games. Kameo for instance was really good along with viva pinata and more. I'm looking forward to Sea of thieves footage come e3.
I purchased games like Zuma for instance and had to pay again for the HD 360 version. It was actually kind of upsetting having to do this.
But what's wrong with shooters? They do very good especially on Playstation so I don't understand where you're coming from. What do you think every game should be an RPG? Plenty of variety on X1 and no need for that.

My avatar has been the same since before Alan Wake released on 360. As a matter a fact I agree with your comment and was let down very hard by AW. Killzone has always been a mediocre game to me but hopefully Horizon lives up to expectations. My point was simply no need to hype this until after release.
I personally just don't get the hype for this game other than Witcher 3 developers helping out. Shell shock Nam was terrible and Killzone was never anything to brag about other than visuals. Hope it turns out well for you guys but hyping it up like this is silly. It's probably best to wait and see instead of sounding like a bunch of arrogant picks anytime a game is announced for Playstation.
No I was talking about the original Xbox and the 1st two years of the 360.

I can see where your painter friend is coming from and I guess it's not that big a deal. It would have been great to hear he was going multiplatform but it is what it is. Hopefully his next game rocks. Also I was thinking his next game might be VR so that could have been another selling point for him.

If You truly love art you make it for everyone not just 1 demographic. This has nothing to do with MS and more to do with pressure from Konami and Sony forcing a play. Kojima loves making games and I'm sure would much rather make them for everyone to enjoy regardless of how many consoles sold. Although good news for Sony gamers this doesn't sound like a good move from a gaming genius siding with the devil.
