I hate to admit it, but this is 100% true.
I sold BFBC2 because no one was using the mics, and everyone was playing solo, not as a team. It was really annoying. And don't give me the annoying 5 year old playing CoD and screaming in the mic excuse. The fact is that a lot of online games need communication in order to get the full experience
Wow, no wonder it almost got canceled. Don't judge a game by it's pre-rendered CGI trailers lol
If you really look at it this way....
the Resistance series is a universe filled with such creativity, and theres a lot of room for even more creativity! Honestly, you'd have to be a REALLY BAD developer in order to fuck up a Resistance game.
And I'm pretty sure insomniac games isn't going to hand this to a crappy dev team
What? Resistance is the only series that actually tries to differentiate eachother from the previous game
The fact is that even though it will sell more on Xbox, there will still always be people to play on for the PS3. What do people not understand? Sure its going to sell better on the Xbox, but the fact is that a lot of people are also going to buy it on the PS3, just not as much as Xbox.
Either way, its a CoD game, so even on a PS3 you will still have millions of people to play it with online, years to come.
Thats what truly matters folks.
I'm sold. I love oldschool classic shooters man. The steampunk aura of this game, and the incredibly stylish weapons make this a day 1 buy. Unfortunately its not for PS3 or Xbox, PC only :(
But in a way, its made for PC gamers.
Its great to see new enemy variety. I hope the midgets make the return, I loved them!

I don't know about you guys, but I'm not a huge CoD fan, but I adore the MW series. It just has this cool slick style that I like. I like how its set in a modern day setting, and the guns are more up to date. I really enjoyed the campaign for MW2 too.
I'm looking forward to this. As well as BF3

Neversoft did an amazing job with the spiderman on the PS1, and I call that true fan service. Same thing with ArkhamAsylum and Rocksteady.
And acording to Capcom, all the Marvel characters are actually handled and given their attacks and combos from real Marvel comics employers

This could be a sign that people are just not getting hyped for shooters anymore. I mean think about it, how many shooters came out since CoD4 this generation? ALOT. But I still love fps games to death.
My most appealing and intersting games of the year so far are Crysis2, KillZone 3, Bulletstorm, and my most anticipated game of the year is Resistance 3.
Very few handful of people are hyped for this game. Especially Resistance 3. I feel sorry for the guy...
