I don't understand how this game keeps getting these solid review scores. An 8/10 is a good score.
I'm surprised people aren't bored of this copy/paste formulaic gameplay
Yes there are a bunch of gamers who have given this game lower scores but there are more reviewers out there that are giving this a positive review
Short campaign wasn't the only problem. The story was silly. There is no way that Korea would be able to have the resources to invade America. The economy in that country is in terrible shape, and they barely even have enough money to pay off their own troops.
Plus, I remember when the game was being first advertised, the developer's ambition was to make a game that pulled heart strings and made people feel depressed about the idea of "war." They wanted to m...
That was funny bro. "A fresh and unique take on the FPS genre." The game has done nothing for the genre. And this game is going to be made by Crytek apparently.
Crytek has been known for their horrendous gameplay. They only thing their games are good for is to advertise the Cryengine's graphical capabilities
Completely agree man. I think the game would've been received with better review scores if they didn't add the campaign. It just hinders the potential of a strictly multiplayer focused game
I'm sure there's more to the gameplay than shown in this video. This video seems like a poor representation of what this game really has to offer
On rails shooter I see
There's a lot of games where the frame rate drops when you load a check point, it's quite common. As long as games don't do that during actual gun-play, then it's all good.
I'm glad they invested in Destiny though. It looks like it's going to be the next big shooter on the market.
Don't get your hopes up buddy. Once Treyarch releases the first Black Ops 3 trailer, that's when the sales will start to rise once again. I don't like it either.
A lot of younger fans of CoD tend to like the Treyarch games much better. Treyarch's CoD games are terrible in my opinion, but they're known to break the mold for CoD and do something a bit different wit the franchise.
I'm sad to say that the sales for CoD will rise once BO3 ...
I agree. These Playstation fans on this site can get really annoying sometimes. Don't worry about them. Let them get all delusional and hype it up for themselves. It'll be funny to see because they'll be disappointed in the end.
There's no point being in denial. If the man said "no," isn't that enough? Please give me an instance where Shu said "no" and there was actually a big event in the end
Best handheld system on the market? I'm sorry, but that is a bold statement. A great system without a good amount of games means NOTHING.
Don't get me wrong, I think the Vita has several great titles, but definitely not enough for me to warrant a purchase.
Summer 2015??? I didn't know it would be THAT long. Oh well, I'm sure Destiny and TitanFall, will keep me busy in terms of online shooters until StarWars comes out.
I'd love to see a campaign for that game
I don't have a PS3 anymore, but if I did, I actually wouldn't mind getting this game at full price. The Tales games are known for their super long length. Gives you a lot for your money in my opinion.
I'm really disappointed that this isn't on the 360. Does anyone know if this is just a timed exclusive on the PS3 and will be making it's way to the 360 sometime soon?
Well, you can expect this new sub-franchise to NEVER get near my wallet.
Oh boy, here we go again. I just wanted this game to fail so that the sales would hinder.
My dream game would be Fallout 4 with the smooth shooting mechanics of RAGE. I thought RAGE had an awesome framerate and great FPS gameplay for an open-world shooter.
The gameplay in CoD campaigns get very, very dull fast. It's because no matter what gun you use, they all kill enemies in 1 or 2 bullets anyways. So there's really no incentive in using variety or experimentation with different guns. I think if you have gameplay like that, a 4 hour campaign isn't a bad idea. Anything after 4 hours would get really repetitive with this type of gameplay that CoD offers.
Don't get me wrong, I'm NOT trying to defend CoD. Just saying th...
Umm.. same could be said for Uncharted 4.
I thought Resistance 3 and inFamous 2 were way too underappreciated
