I wasn't saying that Heavy rain needed multi, I'm just saying that without multiplayer in any game, it lacks replay value, espeicially after you beat a game a few times.

Back in the day when TurboGrafix was out, and the N64 was out, games were the same price as they are today, (50-70 dollar range). And they get cheaper over time (20 dollar range).
In a small way, I do agree. Games's prices should be judged on how much content they offer. For example, Heavy Rain should've came out as 45 dollars as the starting price because there is no multiplayer.

I see where you're comming from, and let me tell you this. Resistance is very good from a lot of other shooters because it actually has fun, strategic, gameplay, with a really good campaign mode.
This isn't your average shooter where you just use your favourite gun and breeze through the game. Resistance isn't like that. It has many different weapons from guns that shoot through walls, guns that have tags, and all the bullets follow where the tag is hit. Theres ...
Are people still rambling aobut this? Yes, there are A LOT of games better than Call of Duty, WE KNOW! But they will never sell as much as this series.
Look at KillZone3. Amazing game. Probably the best shooter to come out this year so far. Yet it didn't sell half as much as Call of Duty.
