From what I have seen of this game, it looks very promising. One to watch.
What they should do is create a survival horror game that is open world like GTA.
How cool would it be to have to hold up in a high rise and make your way across a zombie infested city.

If these pics are PC vs. PS3 then that certainly confirms the "BEAST" status of the PS3. If these pics are from the PS3 version of Rage then ID has done a good job but not quite exceeded KZ3.
The real test will be when all is said and done we look at the PS3, 360 and a comparable spec PC version of Rage and compare them all to KZ3, I think we will have a repeat of people putting their foot in their mouth like we did with KZ2.

This franchise wouldn't need turning around if they just treat it with more care.
Just because you can make a lot of money in the short term doesn't mean that a yearly pace will be sustainable or advisable. I know I'm not alone when I say that the COD franchise has gotten a bit stale.
I hope this game is good, but they are going to have a lot of competition for peoples gaming dollar in the coming months. We shall see what takes place.

How did you come to the conclusion that we (PS3 Owners) would miss out on the beginning of the story? As a matter of fact the article states "the Mass Effect franchise" indicating more than one portion. It would be unwise not to include the first game as the story seems to continue from one game to the other.

I feel bad for them to a degree, but they really need to move on.
There are tragedies and then there is just bad luck or poor management of resources. Regardless of what the final reason for their situation was, they really need to realise that the retail environment is brutal, especially when a system is new on the market.
Move on, retool, and make some money, or not depending on how good their latest entry is.
